But the volus are allready the space jews in the ME universe. How can the Quarians be space jews, too?

Easy. Volus are the bad historical Jewish stereotypes and Quarians are the good/more-historical ones. The more you know about the Old Testament, the more sense it makes.

I am serious. Think about it. The Old Testament describes the Israelites as:

Being nomadic and wandering
Being forced from their homeland (twice, actually) and wanting to take it back
Playing God in Adam and Eve's first sin (like playing God by creating the Geth)
Being extremely concerned with observances of law, religion, and family
Seeing the needs of the nation over the needs of the individual (when they are "doing it right")
An on-going conflict over making war and being vengeful or trying to preserve pacifism and justice (like how half the Quarians want to kill the Geth and half want to make peace with them)

Not to mention the outward apparence of the Quarians and all of their various Jewish voice actors.

So, if Phoenix = Prothean, Bioware just needs to come up with a logical explanation for the existence of other Protheans as Javik was supposed to be the only one left. Genetic experiments? More living ones found in storage? Careless disregard of established lore just to appease player demand? Yeah, I'm sure it's not that last one.

It'd be easy to explain away. Just like how we were told ALL through ME1 that they were all dead, then we find out in ME2 they were just changed into the Collectors. Then in ME3, we find one alive who very clearly said he didn't know about the stasis site on Ilos, which was JUST LIKE the one on Eden Prime. THe mere fact that the plan was tried twice, AND independantly of each other means it entirely possible for there to be a site that just hasn't been found yet.

How did all this talk about male Quarians start popping up? I've not seen ANYTHING that's said they were making male Quarian characters for MP.

It was posted on twitter along with a cropped image of a male Quarian, look through the other pages before posting... This is starting to get as bad as the whole, "Phoenix, from ashes, they rise" thing.....

Oh yeah, cause the Turian Hierarchy is totally gonna suffice for a more
advanced 50,000 year old extinct alien species. That'd be like giving
me the Sangheili instead of the forerunners

Adding Protheans is worth it for the sheer dominance of Dark Channel, Reave, Warp and Stasis. A team of 2 Protheans with Dark Channel, an Asari adept and an Asari Justicar would completely wreck Reapers on Gold.

That would be fine if Turians weren't the most boring race to play.

Pyjack Infiltrator ftw.

No need for TC, already hard to hit!

What the heck is a Pyjack?
I'd rather have: (most)Geth > Turian/Krogran > Prothean > Salarians> Quarian > Humans (least).

There are some classes that need to be added just because they make sense. Turian Infiltrator(Garrus), Asari Sentinel(Liara in ME1), Salarian Soldier(Kirrahe), Salarian Sentinel(they CAN use biotics), etc. I hope they move away from the notion that every alien race must fit into just 2 classes, whether they make sense or not(a Krogan Sentinel? before a Vanguard? wat?).

@skullmount4

The little monkey things you first run into on one of ME1 UNC missions, then discover in ME2 that they have overrun Tuchanka.

Little space monkey that really irritates the Krogans, steals their food and supplies and is as good as vermin (they seem to like Tuchanka, which is unusual, seeing as though it's basically a radioactive wasteland...)

If we get Protheans for MP, one of their powers should be "Airlocking".

I like the sentinel, but I can see why Turians are not very popular.
I think a new Turian class with good power combination and some fun new power could make the species more interesting.
