I personally think the DLC will be announced this Friday, released the next Tuesday, and the weekend Operation will be Operation Rebellion
Assuming there is a DLC
There is a fair bit of evidence pointing to the DLC though.

We need new enemies Bioware!!! The same 3 have gotten old. Please!!!!
..but who have we shot at in the series? Geth, Pirates/Assorted Criminal Scum, Mercs, Cerberus, Collectors, Reapers, Batarians
Can't shoot Batarians they're on our side now. SAme with the merc units. We have Geth, Cerberus and Reapers already so pirates and Collectors are all we've got left and I'm not sure how fun generic criminals would be.

Oh for sure, I agree completely. You've got the leaked information from way back that mentioned Vorcha and now in the operation they snuck in that the Vorcha wanted inn and considering previous leaks have been true, I'm thinking there is a good likelyhood that there is a DLC in the works (especially considering the twitter post).
If it turns out to be fake however, it will just make me all the sadder
I admit, I'm really hoping for a trailer to pop up anytime now to pat me on the butt and tell me "don't worry kid, you will be Vorcha pouncing across roofs next week"

Some Mercs try to profit by attacking Alliance Bases and/or are indoctrinated.

Geth can quite easily be on your side aswell, making this point moot. I would love to fight members of the Gangs/Merc groups, as outside of their own gains, they have no allegiance. Yes, Aria united them, but that does not mean they all agree with what she wants, causing some members to branch off and continue with their usual routine.

I doubt it. They already teased it, like they did with Resurgence, except in resurgence they released the information the next day and then released it 5/6 days after the first hint at it. Currently, we're at 5/6 days after the hint, I doubt they'd give us the hint in the form of a mission statement, then supply us with an announcement a week after that, stretching it out like that ruins the hype.
It's probable that they're doing that age-old tactic of waiting until/after the 15th (when a new high-hype game is being released) and then popping the information out to attract more players/keep their own players. In all honesty, it's a tactic that in some cases works, and brings people back swiftly.

The reference to "technically skilled personnel" is almost certainly simply an in-character reference to BioWare developers working on the pack.
It's just like how they said "A volunteer task force has fabricated the necessary hardware and is rolling out compatibility software" when announcing PS3 weekend events.
Don't you dare tell me theres no male quarians I'm about to flip out on bioware if there isn't ;(

They're not stupid, just extremely violent. They can work weapons so they could conceivably use onmitools. Maybe they could use biotics too?
And it would be easy to come up with a reason to throw them is as enemies. Maybe a military frigate had to emergency land on the Yahg homeworld where it was overtaken and flown off world by a Yahg tribe. Now they're pillaging and plundering, taking resources whereever they can find them.
They're already giants, but they could make even larger Yahg boss enemies. I could see it working with just a few different types- straight up soldier type, using assault rifles; a tech class using sniper rifles and incinerate or cryoblast; a vanguard class using shotguns; and a much larger class using plain ol' fists and teeth. Just imagine a battle against a class where every enemy is like a Brute with a gun, and their brutes make the the Reaper's Brutes look like sissies.

It just doesn't make sense to tease something as a "When they're ready, we'll send the in to support you with this mission" and then going dark for a week. They're basically telling us to expect some actual news by the end of the operation, when they won't actually give us anything on that point. Then people just say "wow, that DLC was hinted for weeks now, they've only just released it?" and continue, leaving it too long removes the hype, which is what this DLCs primary purpose to create

They probably just need to get to work first. I mean, the operation ended what? 8-9 hours ago? Maybe there will be a tidbit when they get back to work again which should be in probably 7 hours or so? Thinking we will either hear or see something during this day or friday. These are assumptions of course, but I would hope to hear something during this week that gives a date for when I can "Vorcha" around

I believe they call it "artistic integrity" in the industry.

Confirmed then. It's Ashley, back from the grave, leaking radiation and craving brains.Father Giliam wrote...
Although most likely coincidental, when I read the part about "Phoenix," I couldnt help but think about the Phoenix armor from ME1, the stuff Ashley wore.
I... don't think my body is ready.
