Also, I'll just go ahead and say it. "Phoenix" adept and vanguards? Protheans.
Oh rly? I don't think BioWare would make that mistake. [Insert random "Protheans are extinct" statement here]

The space hamsters would come in 8 different varieties *hsssst* complete with their own character cards to customize *hssssst* their features. Several unlockable helmets, little space boots, and even *hsssst* gloves. Your space hamster would be visible in the lobby *hsssst* and grant a small passive bonus to your chosen character. *hsssst*

Really? Considering Javik is a Prothean, and the title of his DLC is "From Ashes" which is what the mythical Phoenix is born of (the ashes of its own immolation) I think the hypothesis is much stronger than any case I've seen made for ex-Cerberus...which seems entirely based on "Rebellion." Which really isn't much of a connection at all.Scam_poo wrote...

At any rate, we'll see where this goes. If there is new DLC coming, I hope it's not 6 weeks out like the original rumors for Resurgence.
Edit: oh you were making a lore-based argument. LOL.

I can't fathom what attracts somebody who is openly hostile to consistent lore to an RPG. It's one thing to want to bend the lore, or come up with a crafty solution in order to have some fun. It's quite another to actively want to destroy the lore just to make people angry. Why play an RPG? Shouldn't you be playing Gears of War or something?jpraelster93 wrote...

I think it's the disproportianate noise and vehemence from lore ****s that opens up fertile ground for trolling and antagonizing them. Wanting to see them rage has very little to do with the lore in question, since most healthy people realize "lore" is always subject to change based on the needs of gameplay.Esker02 wrote...

Anyways, I'm skeptical. But less skeptical than I used to be about resurgence pack leak.

Nope. I'm not taking this seriously until it's from an official BioWare/EA announcement thread. Highly suspicious of the Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator we already have those classes unless its the new male version.
That's one of the worst reasons for suspicion, imo.
-male quarian inf and eng are some of the most popularly requested additions;
-we "already had" the asari justicar adept, during the rumor phase of Resurgence characters
that said, the whole article does read a lot like someone just trolled through the BSN for the last two weeks to see what would generate the biggest response.

We've been over this in topics before so there's no sense in going through it all over again. I'll just say that they're one and the same, and they always have been. If they do add protheans I'll be as excited as anybody to use their biotics, but I'll be equally curious to see how they work it into the lore. I still don't like the more stasis pods thing, but maybe they'll work in the collectors somehow ("Rebellion" as somebody else pointed out).jpraelster93 wrote...

Or maybe this is all a hoax. That's still a possibility too..
