Given how rare black cards are...I'd rather not have useless ones. It would suck if you finaly get one and it turns out to be  piece of junk.

Seeing as the only new gun people are reporting is the Indra, I doubt it.

Haven’t seen anybody use it and don’t own one myself. Interested in how it compares to the other rifles though, mostly the Valiant. I also have a black widow so it would have to be damned good to warrant using.

Yeah, I was gonna call BS on this, and then the very first match I play today features some dude with an Indra II.

Also, I got like 4 spectre packs today, and two of them contained black weapons. Dunno if I'm just lucky, or if somethings going on.

Alas, no premium spectre packs for me :-(

Just unlocked it and took it for a play in a few Bronze games to see what it is capable of, or not.

With a SE, will take down a reaver in one clip, 2 or so for a brute. Accuracy isn't great, though fire rate is. Clip size feels pretty good. Like all snipers, doesn't work so well firing from the hip, definitely have to at least quick scope. Basically, compared to the Raptor V i have, it does slightly less damage, but weighs less and has a bigger clip size.

Also tried with turian soldier, slightly better as you'd expect, less muzzle climb, but still not godly. Basically, it's a fun gun for bronze, would think a Indra V or so would probably be reasonably good on silver, and maybe a  X might be ok on gold. If you want to use it at any reasonable range you'll need to correct for climb a lot, or use a scope. Definitely not a gun for headshots, though it does seem to proc cryo pretty well.

Wow. If that thing gets buffed I can see it being a major headache for the rest of the team. Other snipers picking targets people trying to set up biotic combos etc. It will become “That guy!”

You mean it didn't seem so bad because of Cloak(for 90% extra damage), Quarian Defender(22.5% extra damage), Sniper rail III(30% extra damage), AP Ammo III(30% extra damage), Extended Barrel V(25% extra damage) and Piercing Mod V(hits to the cockpit of the atlas do 170% damage from hitting twice)

Several ppl who are on Xbox 360 have the Indra, too, so it can't be promo-related (as the promo was limited to PC)

That piercing mod thing works on all sniper rifles, I assume?

Might have to put that on my black widow.
Got max thermal clips now so the spare ammo isn't totally neccessary.
