You mean it didn't seem so bad because of Cloak(for 90% extra damage), Quarian Defender(22.5% extra damage), Sniper rail III(30% extra damage), AP Ammo III(30% extra damage), Extended Barrel V(25% extra damage) and Piercing Mod V(hits to the cockpit of the atlas do 170% damage from hitting twice)

That piercing mod thing works on all sniper rifles, I assume?

Might have to put that on my black widow.
Got max thermal clips now so the spare ammo isn't totally neccessary.

Piercing Mod works on all snipers, there are some nuances regarding snipers with innate penetration but it does help it penetrate deeper/more.

Several ppl who are on Xbox 360 have the Indra, too, so it can't be promo-related (as the promo was limited to PC)

I don't know about co-op but i do know that all the "dlc" weapons are already on the discs for xbox and probly pc & ps3 the only things i havn't been able to mod into single player is the from ashes gun or quest (which probly are real dlc) but javik n7 hoodie dark channel, all the weapons besides from ashes gun are already on your discs. Since they are on your discs there not dlc there on disc locked content, which is a very bad practice for EA/bioware to start using.

I know it's real. That image was made in response to people thinking the Indra was responsible for bioware suspending multiplayer for those who acquired it (or a victory pack).

Its the special alienware sniper rifle and no he's not lying its been announced by alienware on their website that is now available for PC users as an n7 ultra-rare. Not sure why its not in the manifest yet but I hope they release it on the Xbox cause that's what I'm on.

If you bought the (possibly bugged?) Premium Spectre Packs early on in their release, you could have picked up the Indra regardless of console. I assume it was either a too high a drop rate (since people seemed to be getting them fairly commonly), an unintended drop, or a mis-labelled item (It could have actually been a rare, rather than an ultra rare, explaining the higher than expected acquisition rate), since they took the Spectre Packs down shortly afterward.

Would be interesting to know, if anyone got their Indra from a standard Spectre Pack instead of a PSP and if yes, when (before or after the PSP got pulled). That way we'd know if the Indra is still being given out and if its limited to PSP (which I don't think since normal SP should give out the same items, just with a lower drop rate)

Its Black, aka ultra-rare (see here) At least for the time being. Might be an error that led to the PSP being pulled, but that's pure speculation right now. From the damage-output and gold-viability-wise it's not N7 worthy by a long shot.

I do have the N7 Indra and now I'm one of those people who can't play multiplayer at all on Xbox360. I wouldn't keep buying spectre packs if I were you guys.

The indra sucks. I do believe some people did unlock it in spectre premium packs though. I'm guessing it wasn't suppose to be in the store. Which is why we have to wait longer for are victory packs etc...

To be honest if they're including new weapons, with few balance fixes for existing weak weapons and classes, it would definitely show they're going for the "cool" update rather than the "necessary " updates. The issues they're having with blank firing weapons, random disconnects, and charged weapons breaking cloak must be VERY difficult to fix if none of them are addressed by this update. I guess I should chill till the patch notes come out, but immediately be shocked if any major bug fixes are in there if they're adding weapons that no one asked for.

It dropped as an ultra rare, black border and all. Dropped some more money on Spectre Packs and yes, got got 2 more Indra drops.

So, is this now an official drop that was planned, or could they not delete the ones that dropped earlier and decided to make it an official drop?

Just got Indra 1. It is an ultrarare. It doesn't seem like a very good weapon.
