I'm trying to play online but all the game does is sit on that screen indefinitely when I try to join a quick match. I'd assume if EA's servers were down I wouldn't have been able to long onto them at all and I was able to play just fine a couple hours ago. So, what exactly is this. Does it happen to anyone else?

I can join a match if I quit the game and then re-enter, but after about 10 seconds all other characters are stuck and I am running around the base. Then, the connection lost icon comes up, but I am still logged in.

At least I'm not the only one. Maybe these are primetime hours and the servers are having trouble with the load.

I managed to get it working by restarting my console and clearing my cache before starting up the game. It then prompted me to update, which I believe was causing the issue. I've been able to jump right into games there on after.
Edit: Though this doesn't seem to be a permanent fix. Only lasted for a single game...

The "Searching for games" keeps ticking, nothing happens. (PC)
Tried last night, no luck, trying again now, no luck so far.
Any ideas? official announcement of there being problems I've somehow missed? (like on Twitter or something)
