I experienced it about 30 seconds after wave 1 started, too.

I wasn't hosting no, I attempted to make my own game and it wouldn't leave the "starting game" screen, it took 10 minutes to find the game I did join and I wasn't host there, I got kicked out with a message saying "Lost connection to the host".

So we have discovered the "phenomenon's behavior": host sees the disconnection of all other players and remain alon while the other three player receive a "lost connection to the host" message.

I was able to get into a lobby only twice:
First time everyone else left at once.
Second time everyone lese got disconnected at once during the first seconds of wave 1.

On xbox I got on three hours after the packs were scheduled to be released, no special packs, but also no problems playing MP - played for 3 hours with no disconnects, etc.

Also on xbox, somebody posted last night that he and his brother both beat gold this weekend and his brother in California got a special pack, but he in Texas did not get the pack.

On PC, from what was posted last night, if you did open a special pack then you started to have connection problems and not being able to play.

It would be nice to get regular updates and time frames on the issues we get with this game.
Its a great game and i understand things go wrong and there are problems, i don't expect them to instantly fix it but letting us know how it is going regularly and an estimated time when it will be fixed would be great.

The problem with that is if ANYTHING delays a fix from what they say/imply/hit at vaguely/etc, people will be complaining even more than the current "we're looking into it" and no other info.

I've seen it happen in other games.

yeah i guess you are right... i personally would not mind to much if that happened as long as they kept us updated but some people will get angry and impatient.
i personally am an impatient person but only when i have no way of knowing when or what is happening if i have info of a ROUGH time then i am just pleased they are trying

Playing fine for the last few hours, not a lot of people on but apart from that seems pretty normal.

I wasn't on to get my victory pack "early", so seemingly I haven't been locked out as a result. Hosted my own game, joined other games, all the usual jazz. MP is still up, it just seems a lot of people are "blocked". No victory, commendation or Premium Spectre Pack in the store...

I've yet to see anyone with the Indra ingame, so it may be you guys are a "patch ahead", while the rest of MP is still running in the previous patch (as you have the 'new patch' early, there's nothing for you to join yet until the rest of the game is also patched).

My theory at least (I am on PC).

Since there's people that can't play MP and didn't even open/use the victory pack, it seems not. At least not by itself...

Now I cant connect to the EA server at all. Before I could connect to EA just had issues with not being able to join any games or if I did join it dc's after first wave. Hopefully that's a sign something is being done about the issue.

Oh I am on PC And I opened the victory and one premium spectre pack.

I opened a victory pack, played a few games and then bought a PSP.
My multiplayer has been b0rked since yesterday, on the xbox.

I dunno if this is useful info, but I cannot see the leaderboards either.

Also, thanks for finally making an official reply to the issue.

Opened a victory pack and about 15 PSP's. Got an upgrade for my paladin and black widow though. Now mp is broken(xbox).

Heavy risk.....?

Yeah, I still can't get into anything either. Did open the victory pack as well, but everything worked fine for at least 2 hours after I opened it. This sucks.  I'm on PS3 btw.
