For this bugfest, not $80, but 80 cents, tops. The rest 79.20$ is for single player, pal. That said, real techs are indeed needed. Though, "dreams, dreams"... Sigh.

We're aware of the issue for those of you experiencing Online Pass problems. It is related to the Commendation packs and the team is actively working to fix this.

Let me take a stab at associating possibly connected (or not connected) events and facts.
1. People have reported the sniper rifle Indra appearing in PSPs where is should not be.
2. Some people who got Commendation Pack get an error message logging into MP.
3. Some people who got Commendation Packs also get an error message saying that their DLC is not verified.
4. In my specific case I got a Valiant sniper rifle in my Commendation Pack
So my guess is somehow the file containing info on sniper rifles in the single player game was either corrupted or hacked in the multiplayer game. When the new sniper rifles were given in a Commendation Pack those customer profiles that had a new sniper rifile associated with them became unrecognizable by the authentication system thereby locking them out of game content.
This is a guess but it seems to fit the events.

Then tell us what you'll be compensating us with. It's one thing for an online-only mode like MP to go out, but when you guys screw up your multiplayer and it has the effect of locking me out of a SINGLE PLAYER portion of the game, some compensation is in order.
I purchased the game, paid good money for it, and what your company has done is essentially walk into my house, push me away from my PC, and uninstall it and hide my CD-keys. That's the extent of this. I'm being disallowed from playing the SINGLE PLAYER portion of this game because you guys screwed up MP.
I can do absolutely nothing with Mass Effect 3. Nothing. At this point I don't even care about the damned multiplayer, but I would at least like to play single player.
