same exact thing has been happening to me as wel,l as xelf207 stated above (3 minutes into first wave then game sorta freezes and then it says I lost connection) ... but I too have to ask, as andysdead did, WHAT PATCH?!?

On PC:

I can join games which play fine.

I can use the store fine.

I can host fine.

So it's definitely not happening to everyone.

Wish I could help.

Just described to andysdead that I got the patch by checking for updates through the Origin client. If you're not playing on PC then I have no clue.

I don't know if it was a mistake to download the patch or not. When I first had connection problems I assumed it was because I hadn't received the patch so I sought it out... I hope having the patch isn't causing more problems.

Guys, I really don't think it's a patch. I suspect it's something to do with the Victory pack. I downloaded it earlier today and then one of my friends didn't and he can play just fine, no issues.

Have you: Openned a victory, PSP, obtain an Indra or downloaded a patch within the last several hours? If not that would make sense. One of these things seems to play a role in the offline issues for the PC.

I don't think it's that, either. I could be wrong, but I think I remember getting the Victory pack and then playing several rounds just fine. Wish I'd payed more attention but I never get excited over the victory packs, so... still, I think there are other people that didn't open victory packs and are having issues.

It was the SP PC-only Sniper Rifle which seems to have been showing up in the MP PSPs. As for what you have said, that could explain why you are still online.

Are you on PC? If so, you gotta go into Origin and right click on the game > check for updates.

Any other platform, I don't know.

OK I did that. I then loaded the game and joined a silver lobby, from which the other three players dropped immediately. I then tried to join a different silver lobby and it never loaded one. I also tried hosting a game and that never loaded either. Back to square one. :-(

Maybe they are attempting to roll back the victory packs and give us some worthwhile stuff in them, and it's causing these issues for people who already opened them.

yea, all my problems started after I got my victory pack earlier today

I just tried again and the same results, 2-3 minutes into the first wave then everything just stops ... all other players and enemies, I can still run around but after about 20-30 secons it says I lost connection to the host

Unusual? That's what victory packs always are. The victory packs are the things everyone gets when the goal is met, regardless of whether they participated in the event.

The Commendation pack is where the potential goodies are.

which is no different than the way it was the last time they gave out victory packs.

But yeah, can't play here either.

Can host and join games but only if i crash the game and open it
-If hosting after the first round whole team gets removed
-If joining after first round i'm removed
Did download origin patch, before downloading patch couldn't join/host games at all
-Received a message stating there was a network error.

wrong they usually are a veteran pack this must be your first time cause

Victory packs = usually somewhat a veteran pack with possibility of N7 rare but minimal of I think 1 uncommon last few times I got it cept this one which was a oddity jumbo equipment pack

the commendation pack is a 3 item pack with a random N7 promo weapon 1 out of the 4

I wasn't around last week though so they could have changed victory pack layouts and made them jumbos IM uncertain of this ....if they just give maybie 1 worthwhile thing of a uncommon at least been nice... cause I don't rely on items as much cause if I do I lose them all
