Lucky me I guess. I wanted to get on ME3 today but during work I realized I was totally sleep deprived and decided to cancel my fun with ME3 MP until tomorrow. I get on here just to check things out and find out Mp is in a mess atm. Guess I made the right choice to sleep today and let all these issues resolve themselves so by tomorrow afternoon after work I can play ME3 fully awake and error free lol

I find it funny that people think they can solo bronze in a multiplayer game where the data is stored VIA online and it will work correctly without issue when clearly there is a server problem... Stop wasting your time doing solo runs and play something else it doesn't matter what you do until they fix the servers your XP and credits won't be there

Thanks for that update.  I had missed that post.  However, I have NO faith that this issue will be fixed.  The "Black Screen" folks still don't have a fix for that issue, to my knowledge.  If only a small percentage of people have the issue it seems like EA simply doesn't care.

It's clear that this has something to do with accessing the store.  I didn't open either the Victory pack or the PSP but I'm having the exact same issues as the ones listed in this thread.  But, almost 6 or 7 hours later it takes a fellow end user directing me to a post (grateful for the info, but it's still vague) in order to get any updated information.  EA or BioWare could have a least put a message on the main game screen, where they have the ability to display (*gasp*) updates and announcements.  Or, better yet, schedule a maintenance time to release these packs and make multiplayer unavailable so that no one accidently opens a "bad" pack.

I've been a backer of EA/BioWare in most aspects, even the less than stellar endings.  But when I'm not able to use the product I paid for, at all, that's when I get angry.  I've beaten the SP and I really enjoy the MP.  But now I'm faced with the possibility that because everyone isn't affected that I might not be able to play MP anymore because the issue isn't on a scale that would cause EA to give a hoot.  It makes me especially irate when I see EA customer support feeding users the usual Xbox cache/modem garbage that you'd expect from your ISP customer service, when it's clear that many users are experiencing IDENTICAL issues.

I'd really like someone to give us an ETA and a remotely clear reason as to what's causing the issue.  I don't need a rundown of the fix they're implementing or a bunch of technical details, but something to the effect of "the Victory/PSP packs released accidently this afternoon may have caused issues...we are working to restore server access...we estimate it will be fixed in a day or two".  Is that really too much to ask? :mellow:

Well . . . I heard back from the supervisor I was waiting for and he claimed I was unclear about the issue :innocent:.

So, I wrote back and included detailed descriptions and screenshots of everything we've been going through, and included links to the following pdf's I made of mass effect players who have been plagued by this problem in the past 12 hours... over 100 customers so they know the size of the problem . . . hopefully.

This assumes, of course, that they will actually take the time to look at what I sent and don't just tell me to clear my cache again.

Well, at least BioWare commented about the delayed commendation packs and balance changes. With such pressing issues at hand its understandable they cant be bothered to comment about minor details such as broken multiplayer...

Terrible PR that they do not even acknowledge they have blocked access for users that opened the victory packs and bought PSPs. They dont even acknowledge the fact that users ARE blocked, simply that there are some issues with pack distribution.

If this takes as long as Raptor to resolve (HAHA!!!!!) = No MP for 1.5 weeks :D

I  tried to play the game few minutes ago and even though I can access the MP menu and see my Galactic readiness I'm unable to join matches or host them. Beside the leadrboards are empty (not that I care about them but I suppose it's the proof something is not working properly).

Do you know what's going on and most importantly when will the MP be available again?

EDIT: I didn't open the victory pack simply because I was not online when it appeared.

If you have redeemed you victory pack yesterday, then yes, don't waste you time, wait for them to fix it.

I assume you weren't online when the premium spectre packs were available either?

If so... first confirmation I've seen of a person having this issue who didn't access either... but there were a good 30 folks on twitter I saw saying they were having issue who didn't mention the packs (not that its easy to do so in 140 characters or less).  I'm still trying to get a feel for how wide spread the issue is though I've got a current tally of about 130 gamers unable to play.  I figure, conservatively, for every 1 gamer that speaks out there are 10 who just throw their controller at the wall and shut it off... which would put it at about 1400 gamers.  Seems like a massive issue to me.

I strongly agree. I mentioned the victory pack just because someone said the issue occurred if you opened the victory pack. I didn't but I'm still unable to play the game.

Any news from BW/EA? Should I contact EA support? Even though I doubt it will be of any use.

Correct me if I'm wrong: We don't even know the cause of this issue. right?

Please contact them... because they are still in denial about how large the problem is.

My most recent update was from a supervisor, after spending 20 minutes vividly describing the issue and the scope to a rep and even sending a link to this very thread, the supervisor had this to say...

I appreciate your interest in EA games. I assure you my continual support in resolving this issue.

As per your concern, I am not able to understand the nature of issue. Please elaborate your issue, so that I can assist you in better way.

 Exactly. I extit the game, then after 10/15 minutes I came here and I start reading about this issue.
I live in Italy, if that can be useful to your data gathering. However I believe it's a worldwide issue related to the "main servers".

As I said I can see my Galaxy at War readiness and I can access my characters scressn but I cannot join games and when I try to host I got a error message.

Do you know if someone is currently able to play the game?

Based on other threads and posts, EA seem to be "looking into it". But no real official word, other than Jessica's thread above(as far as I know).

Well, it looks like I picked a good time to catch up on some DVR'd programs I had, and to read a book I just received from Amazon.com.

Hopefully this is all fixed by the time Friday night rolls around.

I did actually get my "victory pack", btw. But MP was still working fine until I installed the patch (PC).

Just did a game and it worked well, leaderboards aren't empty either. Not sure if it's just luck.

I play on Xbox, for the records. Beside I read about a patch. Is it for PC only? I got not patch when I started my game.

Yes, the "patch" is a pc reference, though it seems to have been released at the same time as the victory packs/premium spectre packs were released for XBOX gamers.

I just played 2 matches on PS3. I hadn't logged in for a day or so and haven't touched any packs/the store.
