Can´t Connect to E.A. Servers.

For the past 24 hours I just almost never connect to EA server to play the MP. Sometimes after a couple of tries I connect but I am disconnect in the middle of the game. S A D...

This aggrivates me. I found it was most common in the first match and then settle down afterwards.

But at the moment, I can't get a single game full stop.

Im haveing the same problem for the past week i have been getting kicked 3 0r 4 times a day. NOW i cant even get 2 minutes into wave 1 before the other players freeze and the A.I. freeze then it says i lost connection to the game and takes me back to the menu where it says im still connected to the EA servers but it wont let me try again after that. i quit the game 5 times and restarted with the same result. im at level 421 with good weapons and characters. I switched to another account on my ps3 and everything worked fine. NEED HELPPPPP!!!!!!!Image IPB

this might help. used to do "tech support" for EA. lol.

1. if you have a modem or router or both, you need to power cycle it(both of them). basically that means unplug it from the power outlet/ power source/ wall. leave it unplug from 1 to 2 minutes. to reset your internet connection.

2. go to network settings and make sure Media Server Connection is DISABLED.

3. next go to GAME DATA UTILITY, i repeat GAME DATA UTILITY, NOT SAVED GAME DATA. it will be under the game icon and all the way at the very top below the PS VITA folder. and you will want to delete the game install data and the updates/ patches folder. i believe they are the same folder, not to sure, to lazy to go check on my ps3 atm.

4. Restart the game, let game install and update itself. if you need to re-download the online pass, just go to your view download history in the playstation store, top right corner in the store. or it might prompt you to do in-game.

5. this is the basic t/s to connect back to the server. if that doesnt work you can put your playstation in safe mode and do restore file system. just google ps3 safe mode and its like the first hit. dont feel like typing or copy and paste because its somewhat a lot of stuff to do.( i think the safe mode might help Phishmaniac since one file is working and the other is not)

6. if all that still doesnt work for then next is a UO Trace, since i dont work for them no more i am definitely not walking you threw on how to do that. i'll give you a hint you do it on your PC or MAC. if have a pc do it on a pc, a lot easier.

@Oni Dark Clown hahaha lol thats funny. but that is an actual valid t/s step. it really works for not being able to play a game on a MAC.

granted on a console it has like a 15% success rate. on a MAC its like 50% to 75%

For me, the server has been down from approx. 6pm yesterday, Mai 1st, and is still down today...

I don't know if this can help, but here is what I have noticed so far:

After I reclaimed the Victory Pack and bought a Premium Specter Pack with accumulated game credits, I decide to take a break for Supper. When I come back online and decide to verify if I had received my Commendation Pack, I noticed the store was glitchy...

I noticed that, each time I entered the "store", AN AUTOMATED ATTEMPT to "connect" for a purchase reclamation was in process for a 1/2 a second. Later, I noticed, each time I would visit the store for the first time after a PS3 reboot, I could no longer have access to any leaderboard information, create a game or join a game until I would reboot my PS3 again. ("Server Error")

So I rebooted my PS3 every hour or so, 3-4 times before I got bored, to verify the server status without visiting the store first. I could view leaderbord information, could create a game and "attempt" to join someone else's game but very soon afterwards, I would loose connection.

When I had created a game, my friends could not join as they would be "told" that the game was no longer valid. When I tried to join them, I would accept the request and noticed it being completely ignored but the server.

But, the strangest thing happened when I tried to play single player to kill time. When I arrive on the Citadel Pesedium Commons (after I just started playing), I got kicked out a few times from the game with a notice that I had lost connection to the EA online server. Fortunatelly, this did not last, but I was and still am VERY currious on how an online server problem could have any effect on my Single Player campain... I guest that's why the game is called Mass Effect! ;)

What really gets to me, though, is how little information about this issue is available to understand who, what, where, when and why this is happening. Some clarification on this situation would be much appreciated!

Same here, havent been able to connect to the server, it says I am but no galaxy at war map is shown at the main menu unless i reboot my internet and reconect to the server by pressing triangle. Tryed all possible router/modem connections, forwarded all ports and did everything "by the book" in 2 different ps3s (mine and my son's), Also got both disk and psn versions of the game.

What makes me angry is that if, for some reason, I manage to connect to a MP session (most of the time by starting private games), it's likelly to disconnect me (or my friends) and when it doesnt then it's just not going to give me any experience or credits (I level up and the credits appear in the lobby but I lose em all when i disconect and get back).

Funny thing is: I am one of the top scorers in RDR and play in some sort of team, after 2 years experiencing bad server issues I've convinced my team mates to buy ME3 so we could try for the N7 leaderboards (come on guys I play EA games since 89, they won't let us down...) and now, none of us can even promote a character...

Bioware/EA should at least show us some respect by "telling us" that the servers are under maintenance instead of letting us try to connect.

A friend of mine reports that he cannot connect. He did receive a victory pack the other day. The two issues appear to be related and I'm sure Bioware is already aware of the issue as it is effecting multiple platforms it appears.

I claimed the pack yesterday and was able to play afterwords for around 2 hours. I saved enough credits to buy a spectre pack and that was when it went to crap on me. I bought the pack but wasn't able to get 2 minutes into a wave before it would crash and leave the map frozen with me running around unable to kill anything and everything stuck in walking animations. I got into two or three matches that played out like this before it wouldn't let me into anything. Still the same today. Hopefully they can fix it before the weekend at the latest, I'd like to actually get to try out the Geth Infiltrator I finally unlocked sometime lol.

I just tried ME3 MP again and still have the same issues.
I should have expected it not to work correctly when I couldn't even see the Galaxy at War map.
But I was able to "connect" to the EA servers. Played one game on Bronze to test it out, full extraction. Saw the results screen with credits and xp. Host then left and migration. Then I went to the store to see if I could test purchase a pack. Got stuck on the store screen while it was waiting to see if there were any outstanding purchases.
While I was stuck, I could see that my credits total had reverted back to the original amount before the match. I could also see that the Victory Pack was available but I couldn't access it due to being stuck while checking for outstanding purchases.
I guess the only good thing to come out of this is that I am helping other people level up.

I just have trouble finding games. Random everything and it just loads forever. When I do find a game I can play all the way through with getting kicked.... if I can find a game

I had been having those issues earlier today, but I've been able to finish three games this evening. Stupid question, but did you try shutting off and restarting the console? I'm sure you did, but I've been trained to ask that first. It's an IT thing.

 I have somewhat of the same problem, where everything is fine and after the third wave, that's when it  starts to lag to a almost complete stop and then kicks me off the EA server.  I recorded some footage on my iPhone i'll uploaded on you tube if it helps my case.

Being disconnected in the middle of a match (especially on Wave 10) is a pretty big argument for awarding credits in real-time rather than at the end of the match.

How about it, BioWare?

I was in a Gold match with some real bad Lag, i thought i was going to get kicked off again, but thank god my team was real good. We were able to get full extraction.

I definitely second having them award us our credits based on that than at the end of matches. I mean, there have been times where I can play all the way to wave 11 and suddenly "lose connection" within 20 seconds of the game being over. This pisses me off to no end because I just wasted about 15-20mina, consumables, and other equipment. Actually it just happened to me again not even 5 minutes ago.

I actually had one where we finished the extraction, the screen even came up and said extraction successful and then I got dc'd and I got nothing for it, no credits or xp. Really sucks that there isn't some way to log that kind of stuff, especially since I had literally finished the mission.
