Usually what happens. (This is when the system is working)

A connection circle appears on the top left of the screen.
A loading circle appears on the bottom right of the screen.

That way I know that the system is making the effort to find me games.


Tonight I was unable to join or create any new games.
The connection circle didn't appear.


I don't know what's happening here. I have dealt with so many disconnects, crashes and glitches since going on Multiplayer, but this one is new.

I don't know if this is a fault on your end or on mine, but it could mean that I'll never be able to go on multiplayer ever again.

Hi. Saw you earlier today, FB dagger v cerberus iirc. Same thing here -- got dropped from an active game (wave nine, for the bonus) and then can't connect to any games. Can't start a new game of my own, get 'network error' message. Restarted ps3. Reconnected PSN. Checked store, no commendation pack, got victory pack earlier, but the premium spectre pack that was there before isn't listed anymore, either.
Suspect technical issues with getting commendation packs to everyone who gets one.

I just want to play more matches.

Hopefully unlock more classes. I've only unlocked 6 despite purchassing countless spectre packs.

Now I won't be able to play online. Damn. I hope this one gets fixed.

Hummm. so your saying the game will not load at all, or just cant connect to game lobby?
and have you checked to see if you can still Log into PSN?

In any case, was this fist turning game on? or after say about 2 hours ++ play time under yer belt then it became unable to get a game going?

Not a PSN connectivity issue. PS3 restarted.
Game starts, says it got connected to EA servers. Can open MP. Can't host a new game. Search for an active game never completes.

Yes. You read my mind. Well it was after  hour of play time. But same issue.

yeah EA having what is called a Derrrpa derrrpa moment but, what you saying happened to you has happened to More or less every PS3 user. the problem is a mix of Garbage from Lack of Installing game ability to just spotty Traffic control. So Pretty much you need to stop playing the game for awhile. i find an hour to an hour and a half is just peachy.

then go again and it should all be right as rain. happens when you play for over 2 hours or so give or take. Lag gets Vary choppy/game freezes/locks/glitches/disconnected/locked out of play/can't buy things in the store. that is to say that's what its like normally.

as said EA is having a Derrrpa derrrpa moment so just gonna have to take it up the Tail pipe till they fix it. and I am sure they are hot on the issue and working to fix it as fast as....... HAHAH! cant even say it with a straight face,

Yes. You read my mind. Well it was after  hour of play time. But same issue.

Yeah if you are a PS3 issue welcome to the Genophage.
This problem is the cause of (don't quote me) the fact that PS3 users (unlike Xbox and PC users) Do not get the benifit of Instaling game to PS3.  that = Disk is working faster than a Squerl on Red bull freebasing Crack. so the thing overheats the lazer and disk, causeing slow down and eventual Game Lock.

so after about 2 hours best to rest your PS3 for 1 hour to 1.5 hours then start up again.

HOW THAT FOR NEXT GEN GAMING EH?

That's the frame-rate uber lagging issue, where restarting the PS3 works. I've already restarted the PS3. Could not connect to any games, could not host. Reconnected to PSN and started the game again, and still could not connect to any games or host one. This is a different issue. It is affecting xbox, too.

You know, with all these requests to change the ending and to add more single player content, I'd rather they just stuck with extended cut idea and then focused on fixing multiplayer.

I would like the bugs, glitches and disconnects fixed.

I'm having the same issue. I actually posted about it somewhat earlier saying it was fixed, boy was I ever wrong. It's still won't let me create or join any games at all. v.v

It don't mean its gonna happen.

I love the game.  Well as much as i can love it till i have to shut it down wait then play again. the glitches and other crap realy take away from a fun MP.

@oni dark Clown what you said about not being able to download ME3 to a PS3 is incorrect. I bought it off the ps store and downloaded to my HDD it was 14.5 gigs. and i am heveing exactly the same issue as Abraham_UK.

I gave up on trying to figure out what was wrong. I'm guessing since this same issue is popping up on all three platforms, that the network is having major issues. Just to triple check it's not on my side I'm re-downloading the whole shebang. In theory it was to keep myself from obsessing over not being able to play multiplayer, but for whatever reason not being able to do something has always drove me up the wall. -shrug- I hope everything is back to normal tomorrow either way. v.v

Well then seeing as I have not one person that DLed it into the HDD from PSN Aside from you my good Phishmaniac I had nothing to compare it to other than personal opinion. this brings me back to my other hypothesis but still This will help you for now.

Sadly that trick

"Turning it off and turning it back on again" which works 70% of the time, didn't work this time.

Hopefully the multiplayer will work tonight.

The reason I've bothered to make this complaint is because I enjoy the multiplayer. I enjoy both multiplayer and single player.

Though I am having some technical issues online. Also, I have noticed that most of my gathered war assets are not present on the cutscenes at the end of the game. Is that too a technical issue?

I never saw my mercenary army in battle. I guess 60% of my war assets decided to stay behind since they were needed to deal with the onslaught elsewhere.


Another thing. We PS3 users do get the short end of the stick. But if you want to see the genophage in action, watch "Children of Men"

That's not a technical issue, it's just one of the many reasons many people hate the ending.
