Some people have some strange opinions on how this whole thing works. This is the real world, not some magical pixie land where Bioware staff is powered by our well wishes and support. I'm not saying we shouldn't support them. They are just people like us, doing their jobs. They are working on these issues because they are being paid to work on these issues.

I'm sure some people are working on them harder than others because they have a better work ethic, or because they care about the community more, or any other number of reasons. The idea that we can't complain or they'll just get big old frowny faces and go home because no one likes them is nonsense though.

That said there is a lot of entitlement and threatening from the gamers to do exactly that because everything isn't up to their unreasonable standards. Personally, I would just like a post saying they know lots of people can't connect right now and they are working on it. I don't know why they can't do this much since they have made equivalent posts for the Commendation Pack and gameplay balance update delays.

My friends are telling me they got their Victory packs but not commendation packs...and they currently are seeing a Silver Spectre Pack they can purchase...while I'm just seeing the regular 3. I didn't seeing anything in this thread about the Silver Spectre Packs...anyone else seeing it/not seeing it?

It isn't about "fixing" it, its about releasing new crap after its been tested and hiring some people who can code this junk properly without bugs galore that end up taking down the game for people.

Wait, you're a PS3 player aren't you? Dude that's not even the same thing, don't BS me like that, anyone with a brain knows it was SONY doing that **** to players because they didn't want their pristine system sullied by a crossover promotion with X360/PC.

You should be mad at Sony for blocking them and be glad BioWare was struggling to even get the packs to you over Sony's indifference and hubris.

If you want to "rollback" to before the packs just clear your cache on 360 or PS3 to delete the patch. I can only assume that with the balance delay they pulled the patch down so you shouldn't be forced to repatch. This of course doesn't fix the issue for people that didn't update. I half expect part of that is bad authentication on the server side.

Unfortunately I wasn't ready for Gold, trying to make it in Silver, but I do feel your pain. I know the Victory pack isn't all that, but its the principle of the thing. Is this across all platforms?

Yeah unreasonable expectations like being able to release a simple prize pack or make an update without it being filled up with enough bugs to start a Volkswagon dealership...
