I like the Eagle for the most part...thats what i got out of my first two comm packs from the last events...though i'd have preferred the valiant instead...but hey, the alternative could be having none at all right?

In a 24-7 business, they have to work around the clock to bring up the servers. There is no '9-5 work day'.

The servers aren't down, people who opened up the botched packs are just locked out. Having a couple of server maintence guys on call 24/7, does not mean the whole dev team is on same kind of rotation.

Imo the main problem is that they are not telling us anything at all. For all we know the BW servers no longer exist because they were nuked into oblivion.

I just hope they don't end up rolling back anything. I bought one of the premium spectre packs while they were available (after I opened the victory pack) and finally managed to unlock the Widow (and level up my beloved falcon).

So if EA's servers are acting "snafu" as I'm reading the community consensus to be, I'm not to be alarmed?

Mainly because I took a peek earlier today on my pc copy and saw the Commendation and Premium Spectre packs, decided to hold off to get them on the 360 copy, and now I'm not seeing anything. Be patient is the vibe I'm feeling.

doesn't matter... Montreal is in EST zone... game seems to run on PST and all their support is in India... I highly doubt real developers are hanging out inthe office at 330am fixing the game... you can't pay people enough in the US/Canada to do that... would YOU go in at 330am to fix a game? I know I wouldn't... I wouldn't even go into my job at 330am and I work in healthcare and get paid well... I'm sure the guys fixing it are not from US/Canada...

3:03 am central time and still no reward pack for doing the weekend event. I didn’t get the gold one accomplished but did kill more than a few Cerberus maps on Saturday.

The Store keeps saying “New” every time I get to the menu page but nothing new is there.

Multiplayer seems to be working on the X-Box 360 as well, so not sure what that was all about. I heard it was down a good chunk of today??

Hopefully we will get a new update on things soon.

Trust me, you do not want the victory pack as it was in its original state. MP is unplayable for anyone who claimed theirs. Character power/appearance/weapon changes don't take, and even if you can get into a game, you disconnect at the end of the first round.

My guess would be eastern Europe - 1 May is public holiday in many countries in the region. If thats the case, expect similar problems next week - 8 May is Victory Day

May 1st is Worker's Day, indeed.
The only problem with your reasoning is that in Europe is already May 2nd, for example here in Italy it's 10:18 (AM, for those of you who use the 12hr format).

What the heck was in that pack to screw everything up a multiplayer virus? Did they send out packs to the wrong systems (X-Box 360 got PS3, PS3 got PC and PC got X-Box 360)?

EA at its finest I’m sure.
