Problem with mumble is that it's not widly used compared to TS and Vent. I have a vent server however, I will only post it to people that request it in game and that are on my friends list. Don't feel like having to prune through a ban list again.

That's obviously correct. I don't even think were really looking for good players only. I for one would rather play with someone who isn't all that expierenced but shows a willingness to improve and work with the team than a scoreboard hero who's also a douche.

Games with the Legion are fun and relaxed most of the time. You don't feel like you have to prove anything and can enjoy kicking the **** out of stuff with a team that has your back even if it means they'll miss out on few points. It's a great environment for improvement. Many people who signed up in the original thread were playing mostly silver. Right now the default setting for group games seems to be Unknown / Unknown / Gold. People who join now and aren't up for that will be eventually as long as they're not antisocial and keep playing with group teams. People who are bad and want to stay that way have no incentive to join. That's why I believe the Legion will always be a (farily) "good gamer group". A screening process might attract a different crowd.

you're very welcome, i have plans for wallapapers for all the major factions...

also... we're at 269 members ;D

and i thought i'd mention some of the things we do, we have a mentor program, where the top players help others take on gold, we have our own chatroom on IRC where we chill between games, we share our builds and discuss the pros and cons, we also have plans for a ts/vent/mumble voice chat server, a community imagehost to share screenshots, avatars, sigs & wallpapers. And we do challanges!

I need a good group
I signed up.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy doing public matches and trying to be a good team player, but I usually end up (on gold) trying to convince everyone to stop scattering and running all over the place, and end up carrying the team until we die magnificently on wave 6. No bragging or anything intended, I'm not a brilliant player, and I prefer when I don't have the most "points" (much prefer to play a support role and fill in the gaps). So, yeah, it's really hard to get a good random gold team.

I think we should clarify the word "good players", I guess my fellow legionaires will agree with me that this word doesn't mean you have top level game skill, but a good sense of teamwork. Patience to people who are not as good as yourself, and willing to help them to be better. If you try a match with the legionaires, you'd understand what I mean. For example, some legionaires love to explore different build, they can just shout and say: I'm a krogan, I might die a lot, help me a bit. And you'll hear three other voices saying, don't worry, got your back without more word. Having fun is the most important thing:)

Last night in Gold-Reaper was teammate with lv 8 human vanguard.I thought:"Great,I´ll set new record in reviving"(not in negative context!).
But then,I played with stentron and Dr-Styxx,so I guess,we also could be lv 1 HA.Needles to say it was successful run.
That is beauty of playing with supportive team.
