"For an Option" Poster (Thane) *Maxed out!*

The Poster is maxed out and I am no longer taking messages for it!!! I want to thank everyone for their support and hopefully, Bioware will acknowledge us. There was nothing but hard work, love and dedication place into this poster! I will still be collecting ideas and concepts from people on how an Option in ME3 can work. Any questions, contact me directly. The deadline is 5/14.

I will be making final touches and then I will begin working on getting the poster printed. I will keep up with the Updates and post pictures of the poster when it's done with print!

Remember everyone, no matter how hard it seems sometimes. No matter how hopeless it may be. Never give up hope and never stop fighting for Thane!

Like I promised, here is the poster project. This is for anyone who would have liked to be given an option in ME3 to save/prolong Thane.

The poster itself will be 54X36 and I will be sending it directly to Bioware. The poster is going to be an epic one. I work in the movie business and I know how to get movie size posters printed. lol.

I will be running the project to May 14th or until I get enough personal messages from people. If for some reason I get a lot more messages than I have room for on the poster, I will make extra panels so everyone gets included.

I am also running this project over at deviantArt.

To participate, all you have to do is send me the following information in a PM. It's very simple and the only rule you need to follow is this:

Personal Messages must be kept small and no flaming Bioware. Your message must be about why you feel/think there should have been an option. Just follow the examples of the people who already submitted to the poster or from me. Also, please provide me with all the information that I ask.

Examples: 

"Mass Effect will never be the same without Thane".
"Thane was the backbone of my Shep, he/she was not the same after Thane's passing".
"I hoped to save Thane! I was disappointed in only one outcome".
"There is nothing wrong with wanting to save the man that you love. There should have been an option".
"Thane was more than his disease, I was sad to see him define by it in ME3".
"I will always keep fighting for Thane! I won't give up until he is there with me until the end".

In meanwhile, I like to share with everyone what inspired me to do this project in the first place. When I did the original “For a Choice” art piece, I was hit with an overwhelming response to it on deviantArt. It saddens me that so many people felt the same way and thought they were alone in this. I am very empathetic person and I nearly felt everyone who came to talk to me, either through comments or notes. What also inspired me was the Thane Fanbook that was run by yamainu1984 and Moira-chan, she reminded me we all have to do what we can for the fight for Thane.

I literally ran out of room on the poster. I couldn’t believe it, it has only been four days. So I added 3 more panels in and extended one panel. Now I should have plenty of room… I think. lol. I will have the update on the poster by tomorrow. Please keep ‘em messages coming!

I have decided not to upload through imageshack anymore. Let's face it, it sorta sucks. Instead I am going to provide links to the poster through deviantart. The zoom in feature is 1000x better.

As I promised, I made more room on the poster. I hope it's enough because I'm not sure if I can add any more panels in.

The poster is coming along smoothly and so far there haven’t been any problems. However I need to let you all know that I feel in the next few days, I am going to probably be maxed out on the poster. So for those who

Last night, I tweeted Patrick Weekes. I let him know about the poster. He did respond back but I’m afraid if I post it up, his message will be taken out of context. There was a discussion going on about Thane’s death and if I post only one response, the meaning of the message will be misunderstood. The point of me even saying anything is that I wanted to let him know that there is a problem with Thane’s death.

However his message gave me an idea. The poster reflects our emotions, hurt and/or disappointment. So I like to also reflect some logic as well. So for anyone who likes to write letters can send me one. What I am looking for is ideas on how an option to save/prolong Thane can work in ME3. I know a few of you won’t be able to resist the urge to also discuss your feelings on how Thane's death and no option to save him made you feel. I’m okay with it as long as you provide ideas for an option.

There is no page limitation. I also need to make this very clear. This is not a fan book project. I will simply collect letters from people, print and compile it all into something that is simple and nice. I will then send it in along with the poster.

I don’t expect many letters and I don’t want to hold anyone back from expressing their thoughts freely. So I am allowing you all to go about writing your letter any way that you like, just don’t flame/cuss out Bioware.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Please send all letters in a pm to me. Also make sure to spell/grammar check yourself because relying on me to do it for you is like relying on Bioware to do things right. It would be such a fail.

I have gotten food poisoning like you will not believe. That is what I get for eating crab. LOL. Please bare with me, it's been killing me all day. I got the shakes and I'm dead tired. I'll update better tomorrow and I will get back with everyone who posted/noted me. I'm just so tired right now.

I also just want to say... crab is still awesome... even if it nearly kills you. haha.

I want thank everyone who wished me well. I am better now, just feeling a little beat up. I think I won’t be eating anything from the ocean again for awhile. lol.

The other day I was told to go check out the posters that the Miranda fan base is now running. I offer them my support and a few were interested in joining an alliance with the Thane fan base. Well like I said earlier, I’m running out of room on the poster. This is pretty much the moment to send in your messages before I will have to close the whole thing down. I’m pretty excited about it though.

Pretty much, a simple quote is what I am looking for. Honestly, if  I could fit paragraphs in, I would do it. Prehaps if enough people ask me, I would be willing to send fan letters along with the poster.

Your small message can be something like this:

When I first wrote mine, I wanted to write... "Goddamnit, Bioware you will feel my wrath!" Which pretty much sums up how I feel. haha. But I knew I wouldn't be setting a good example by that. But like I said earlier, if you need help.. please just let me know. :)

I want to participate...but when I watch my keyboard and try to resume in few words how I could defend Thane, I just go blank: it is too painfull...
Everything I would type seem empty and dull...
The feeling is here, all burning and painfull but it won't get out. sentiment of unfair and angryness are dancing in my heart these days...That and the want to brake something.
So I wait a little bit more to try to find the right words.
I hope I will be able to type them before it is too late.

I know exactly how you feel, every time I bring my mind back to the game… I just feel pain. It’s made me angry too, Mass Effect is a game and no game should make any of us feel this way.

@ coldwetn0se: I hope that you do and I understand it’s hard to sum up everything in a brief sentence. My goal is to end it on 5/14, but if I need to extend the date a little further, I’ll do it.

I waited two years for the chance to see Thane again and possibly save him or at the every least to prolong his illness. For a game that was all choice driven, there was none for Thane. I am a Siha I would like a choice, I believe he as a character deserves that much.
