Lets take a break from talking about the ending of the series and go back to the very beginning.  Before EA even entered the picture and Bioware was an independent studio with Mass Effect being published by Microsoft. Remember how different Mass Effect 1 was from the final product? www.youtube.com/watch www.youtube.com/watch. I wonder why it had such a large change. These images also show some differences seems like the Mass Relay statue was originally in the citadel tower. This EGM article has some screens that almost make it look like there was originally a Salarian squad member. Lastly this forum post where some guy accidently(?) got a prerelease disc, the thread hasnt had a reply for awhile though.
