I've decided to rise again in a dramatic fashion during my funeral.

You rot in the ground. But before that John Waters and your mortician have fun with your genitals.

Game over! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

And then:
  • New game.
  • Continue.
  • Load a save.
  • Exit.

Someone loots your corpse and you disappear from the game.

Or they move your body into strange or life-like positions...Skyrim reference, if you missed it.

You hope one of your teammates revives you, or you use Medigel. How is this even a question?

After you die, first you crap yourself. Than the lysosomes in your cells burst open, and your body is dissolved by your own intercellular digestive fluids.

Wait, why am I trying to explain this myself?  Other people have already written far better explanations than one I could ever write myself.

Do you ever think as a hearse goes by,
that you may be the next to die?
They wrap you up in a big white sheet
From your head down to your feet.
They put you in a big black box,
And cover you up with dirt and rocks.
All goes well for about a week,
Then your coffin begins to leak.
The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out,
The worms play pinochle on your snout.
They eat your eyes, they eat your nose,
They eat the jelly between your toes.
A big green worm with rolling eyes,
Crawls in your stomach and out your eyes.
Your stomach turns a slimy green,
And pus pours out like whipping cream.
You spread it on a slice of bread,
And that's what you eat when you are dead.

4 possibilities:

1) Going to another world
2) Not experiencing Death and Time, till being reborn again and gain consciousness
3) Reincarnation directly and spiritually
4) Wandering as eternal spirits

None is frightening ... do not panic!

ISA has spoken.

You forgot one, nothing.

As a Christian, I believe the soul is immortal and departs for "judgement" myself.

Those who want to be close to God will be, those who do not won't be. I'm not sure I believe in hell though, that seems to be more of a concoction to keep people in line.

After I die, there will be an immediate cut and you will see me take a breath in the rubble of London.

We reincarnate in an alternate universe and live out that possibility of our life and so on and so forth until we've lived every possible probable derivative of what our life could have and can be. Then we become a god in deistic definition, create our own universe with our definition of what life is and the cycle repeats.

Yep, it'll expand into a red giant then shrink into a tiny white dwarf at its very end. That won't happen for millions of years though and if we haven't even achieved extrasolar FTL spaceflight by then we'd be dead way before that happens anyway.

I strongly believe in heaven and that I will spend eternity there with my loved ones...
Can't wait to see my great-grandmother again...
