Points Not Showing Up

On December 5th, I purchased 560 Bioware points through PayPal so I could download Warden's Keep. The money has been taken out of my bank account. Both PayPal and the Purchase History tab in my Bioware account page say that the transaction has been completed sucessfully. However, my Point Balance is still zero in both my account page and the game itself.

I've checked the 'known issues' post, and this doesn't sound like any of those. Any ideas? I've opened a support ticket, but I've already waited three days for my points, so any help would be welcome.

I've the same problem and i opened a ticket eight or nine days ago and still no answer.

I'v also the same problem. Yesterday i've received a standard answering mail - after 2 weeks. This is the worst customer support with which i was confronted in my entire live, ever ...

Hint:  The live help chat is also useless, if you have this problem ... :unsure:

It's only been four days for me, but I am already getting pretty cranky that my ticket has been ignored and my points have not turned up. There isn't even a proper heading to submit this problem under!



At least if the transaction had failed they would not have my $9.24 (Australian dollars) while I have nothing.

I purchased the deluxe edition online from Steam. It indicated I would have access to the golem content and the Warden's Keep. However, I dont see how I can access either, should I just wait and it will be revealed in the game or must i take action outside the game world?

Are you all on the PC version? I'm on Steam, and I had to jump through some serious hoops to get DLC working in that version.

Start>run. Type in services.msc. If you do not see anything related to DAUpdater or Dragon Age in this list, then you're missing the piece of software that will get your points/content installed and running.

The updater is running, it's just that there's no no point balance for it to update. For some reason my balance on the BioWare website hasn't gone up even though the money was taken out of my account on Monday. Nor have I received a response to my support ticket. Grrrrr.



Thank you for the suggestion in any case - I've heard that the Steam version does not co-operate with DLC.

ya im having the same problem i made 650 pts from the game and i cant spend them when i try to refresh the pts it still says zero i want to get more pts but what is the point of it if i cant buy and content

Hello, I am having a similar problem. My Bioware account online shows that I have purchased the points and my $ account shows that the purchase has gone through, but the points are not accessible in game and so I cannot actually use the content that I have paid for. Any suggestions?

I bought 800 pts about 3 weeks ago. I show I have the points but no content shows up as being available to download. Anyone have suggestions?

Jesse you replied (thank you) almost a month ago, is this actually being looked into?



Bought 1600 points recently myself, they show in my Bioware points page, but nothing in game, if I cannot get RtO in 2 days because of this heads will roll.



Had almost 2 months now to sort this site and its uploading issues out, terrible terrible management, I'm out of work at the moment, if you need someone with web/server/internet experience to fix it for you give me a bell....

It has been since 25 Dec 09 and I do not see my points either. I wonder if this has anything to do with where you are in the world?

Yeah quite possibly a good explanation, its common knowledge that theres nothing but a desolate wasteland outside North America (flame away) heeh :)

You guys are much more patient than me. I bought points 12/19, but they didn't show up. I sent screen shots and info to EA via their support page. 48 hrs later, no response. A day later, still nothing. So I ask for some sort of response (a short, I'm looking into it would have been good). Nothing. Start of the new year, I contact my credit card company, send them the same screen shots, screen shots of my requests to resolve the situation, and dispute the charge. They responded within an hour. My money was back into my account the next day.

Hi Blackthorne,

In response to my query about resolving the "zero points" issue, they sent me the response I'm including below.  Lucky for you, it does actually answer your question, if not mine... (how "I have zero points" is the same as "there is nothing listed to download" is beyond me...)

Step 1: Make sure you are logged in with the same EA Account you used to redeem the DLC code.

- Try logging out and logging back in.
- To log out from the game menu, select Downloadable Content.
- Select the 'Logged In' option.
- Select 'Log Out' on the next page.

Step 2: If contents are not available after following Step 1, try re-starting the game by closing the game
completely, then launching it again.

Step
3: If after following Steps 1 and 2, your Downloads page is still
blank, you will need to start the Dragon Age Update Service manually.

You can find instructions on how to do this at the following link:

If after trying all the troubleshooting steps above, you still can't see your downloads in-game, please let us know back.

I had 1440 points and now they don't show up in my balance any more. I have "_ _" and the refresh is unclickable. Weird. Anyone else run into this?

yes, I just noticed this week that the points were no longer there, they had always been there before.

weiiird, I went to make sure everything was logged in properly, right address etc and my points are back!
