It's too bad really because I think they may have been on to something with this format.  Unfortunately due to lack of customer service, poor product maintenance, and a string of broken promises, this MP has forever been damaged and will NEVER RECOVER.  Too many veteran gamers slighted this time I'm afraid.

Always sad to see great ideas crushed under the weight of capitalism.

I hope TC's Future Soldier will be worth all the hype.  That's where I'll be headed in a couple weeks, never to look back.  Shame on you EA/Bioware.  Shame.

So bioware pulled your pin, and you exploded. It's what happens to grenades, you should not be suprised.

Source saying it will never recover? Or are you just going into Hyperbole?

I think MP could have had a much better life expectancy with a half way decent store. Random drops don't work without an intra-player economy. The bugs, three factions, three objectives and poor balance sure didn't help.

ME3 MP could have been something spectacular.

Is this your first multiplayer game? I'm astounded, yes astounded by people who keep posting threads like yours. It's not like any game ships without bugs, glitches and annoyances. It's normal, every game does it. Don't get me wrong; I'm annoyed by certain things in this game as well, especially the lack of modding. But that doesn't mean the game is "NEVER GOING TO RECOVER" within it's first two months of release.

Get over youself, have fun with Future Soldier. I'll be playing Diablo III and jumping back into action with my Vanguard once in a while. Don't play *one* game, you'll always be an angry gamer if you do.

"We've been without Multiplayer for a WHOLE DAY. Obviously this is because Bioware/EA wants our money. Multiplayer is dead, everybody move on."

Bye. Don't come back. Pretty please.

You do realize that this game gets weekly balance updates and has gotten a free DLC within a month of relase, for which other companies would have you billed? Yes, surely they JUST want your money and give a **** about you. If they would, they wouldn't allow the multiplayer to be DOWN! UNTHINKABLE!

As I said: Go away and don't come back. This game doesn't need people like you. We are fine without you.

I doubt it is the fault of an economic system that makes a piece of software not measure up to your standards.  If you hate capitalism so much, you must be unemployed.  Reliance on socialist policies and the work of other people to sustain your livelihood, instead of seeking employment and taking care of  yourself ...
Always sad to see great people crushed under the weight of socialism.

While this is nothing new for MP games, ME3's MP is so bare bones in comparison to any other offering out there that it's amazing it isn't back up and running by now.

It's not like any game company that develops doesn't usually have a pretty big QA department to make sure breaking bugs, oh say like the vanguard charge and float forever glitch, don't make it onto gold releases.

Normal games also fix breaking bugs quickly, not nearly two months later with NO patches to fix it, all the while trying to divert attention with posting "balance" tweaks and weekly (now bi-weekly) events.

Even Blackbox, EA's own in house studio releases patches and bugfixes for their games FASTER than BioWARE currently does, both for Mass Effect AND Star Wars The Old Republic.

will the KABOOM express itself as a live grenade with organs all over the walls?
Or will it be metaphorical and OP moans about problems to which official satements have been given saying "chill, dudes We got this..."

Funny joke?
What do you do when a blonde throws a Grenade at you?
Pull out the pin and throw it back.

If one day of down time crushes things, then PSN should've been through 9 lives when it went down for a month.

And any minute now the four horsemen will come riding in.

Maybe dial back the apocalyptic tone a little?

Name one game that's launched since 2000 without bugs and glitches, please.

Normal games .. This is a multi-platform game. BioWare has chosen not to make differences between the consoles. That means that patching procedures are long. Blame Microsoft and Sony, they're the reason patches are pushed. The most recent patch broke something on the Xbox, while it's fine on PC and PS3 - Well, now we've got to start from scratch again. And they do that same procedure over and over until nothing is broken on any system.

Star Wars the Old Republic is a PC only game, and it's an MMO. Don't compare it to a multiplayer game where you bought the game, end of story - There's a reason you have to pay monthly fees to play MMOs. They update them weekly.

Geez.

No. We're going to die.

All of us.

Cold.

Miserable.

Alone.

And it's going to be slow, too. And very painful.

An orgy of violence and misery that forever taints the soul, bound to wander endlessly in dark boiling pits of anguish.

Forever haunted by the fact that on 5/2/2012... We could not play MP.
