Odds are highly in that direction.

I play 6-8 hours a day and have 20-25 minute gold matches every time.

You may have better luck than me, but you surely are not better in any sense.

Anyone with a brain can understand the game mechanics and strategy... and exploit them.

The thing about all the "my friends have stopped playing" point is that nobody knows numbers unless Bioware posts them. Your friends may leave, but other people join. The overall is still most likely going down every day, but nobody really knows if it's at an alarming rate other than EA/Bioware.

To use WoW again(Just because it fits every argument so damn well) people at the start of Wrath of the Lich King said the same thing about their friend's list getting smaller and smaller every day, and the game had its' peak number of active subscriptions during that expansion at 12 million.

I've already made my case you're still going on about nothing.  This game will die by the end of the year.  The Mid year is already bringing good games for many people to switch too.  Have fun playing this glitchy **** while I go off to play a better game.

Your case that an SP focused game should have an MP that competes with MP focused AAA titles?

I agree'd with you that it will be dead by the end of the year

I'm just saying that it's a solid lifespan for something like this(unless it gets fleshed out more very soon) and that it's a little early to break out the doomsaying that the end is nigh.

I concede that I do not know for sure that I am better than you at ME3.  But then again I don't care.  Odds are highly in favor that I farm/glitch?  Based on what?   that I have more guns and a higher N7 than you?  Pretty lame bro, and petty as well.  You are on Xbox. If you ever want a lesson in my skillsets just find me and I'll be more than happy to educate you.  As far as this discussion goes let's just agree that you don't agree with my OP and let it go bro.

I read through the thread and you were trying to make some points but they were scattered so they were confusing and I didn't really understand.  I am just as confused as he is :T

It might be easier to just outline your main point in one post and link back to that when people ask you what you mean.


Also as a side note, everyone should quit calling everyone else trolls.  Very few if any posts that I saw here are malicious.

Well I'm getting Diablo 3, so I don't not care about them. I'm also getting Borderlands 2.

But here's the thing about ME3 MP, it's a test. An experiment to see what the reaction to MP is in the ME universe. Why else would it not be very fleshed out? It just wasn't a smart business move to throw a ton of resources at it.

While that doesn't have much relevancy to the whole "it's dying" thing that I've been agreeing with the whole time, if it takes the 5 games listed in this thread to collectively kill a test, then mission accomplished Bioware.

I would say mission accomplished even if it took 2 MP centric AAA titles to kill it, much less 5.

Yes trying to track points in a hot forum thread can be difficult.  If this debate is still on tomorrow I may make an "outline" thread as you put it.   The point of the short post was to avoid what could be seen or interpreted as a "rant", which is easily dismissed.   My intention is to spark discourse, not disgust.

They are all up on their high horse because they released "Free" DLC. MP is more stale than the piece of beard under my fridge. We need new enemies (Collectors or perhaps the BW staff). If they just add in where you could play as main characters (Ashley, Miranda, etc.). It would make things more exciting

First off, it's a rant. You give three reasons why you think this is a bad game, but give no examples and make no suggestions the devs can take into consideration. You assert that the game is forever damaged and will never recover, which solidifies this as a rant, because you can not see into the future. People on forums always respond negetivly to rants, you should know this if you post as much as you claim. You believe you are smart, and have asserted such, so I can't believe you did not see this comming. I think you were fishing for it. Guess what "son" you caught a whopper.

You assert the devs ideas have been crushed under the weight of capitolism, yet it is this very system that allows them to be creative and more importantly feed thier families.

You end with a threat to leave in "a couple weeks" which is always the icing on the cake of any rant.

Your op came off as the rant of a spoiled child who did not get the biggest piece of birthday cake, and you have the audacity to claim you only wanted a civil discussion.

No one here is buying your goods, its a good thing you hate capitolism.

Though you were right in that it wasn't designed to last.

They could try to save it with fleshing it out, but it would have to happen very quickly. It just wasn't designed to compete with the onslaught of MP designed games coming out soon. The fact that we're even comparing it to them is a success in itself, however given that it wasn't designed to be like that.
