I've been gaming since Atari, son.   Let me ask you a question.  Week to week, do you think more, less, or the same amount of players sign in to ME MP?  I'll tell you.  It's less every week.  Doesn't take a genius to understand that.   So you already have less people playing week to week just on trend.  Add to that the overwhelming list of bugs and glitches, the complete disregard for PS3 Users, and the rampant modding on the PC side....not to mention the poor attempt at an ending and the obvious money grabs (same day dlc, MP pack fiasco).   These aren't my assertions.  Just read the forums.   

Yes games have bugs, but elite companies like EA/Bioware who have the resources can and should have had most of these issues addressed weeks ago.  They have made MILLIONS.  They have fixed NOTHING.  The only changes they seem to make are to avoid losing money on their stupid packs, and their solution is to lockout half the community?  Yeah, NO RECOVERY.

The multiplayer has plenty of room for improvement. Just keep in mind, it is the first time they made multiplayer for this series. The game hasn't been out long. Bugs can be fixed, new enemies and objectives are almost a guarantee, and the store might even see some changes that keep the players interested and BioWare selling packs still. If the community begs for something enough, BioWare will probably do it, assuming it is reasonable. The game is just too new to give up on so easily.

By the way, no apocalypse. Sam and Dean stopped that a while back.

Edit: A lot of the bugs could have been fixed by now. Some of them seem rather elementary. I took a 2-year programming course in high school and can guess at why some of these bugs don't work. I'm sure BioWare has plenty of talented software engineers that could have fixed them by now. Maybe they have their A-Team trying to pump out DLC for money?

Big internet forum guy with a top-tier job in game developement and inside sources with EA/Bioware knows with 100% certainty that they COULD have had all this fixed, but chose NOT to. And why would we doubt this guy? I mean, he's an EXPERT. Just look at his credentials! He's got a screen-name, an opinion, and everything!

You do realize that this game gets weekly balance updates and has gotten a free DLC within a month of relase, for which other companies would have you billed? Yes, surely they JUST want your money and give a **** about you. If they would, they wouldn't allow the multiplayer to be DOWN! UNTHINKABLE!

Dude the DLC was a few characters mods and guns.  Don't act like they did anyone a favor.   Balance updates are not bugfixes.   It's not just that the MP IS DOWN, it's the whole host of other bug/glitches and issues, not the least of which is the greed based store system.  I've put more time into this game than most of you combined and I have every right to express my sadness with the outcome.   If you think that greed didn't kill this title than you are very uninformed as all you have to do is type in the white box in your browser to get the consensus.  You are in the minority

The EC is a fine example of this. But then again it is my opinion on this matter. They might be able to recover but with the attitude what I've seen for last 2 months... it's not promising people.

Yeah, that's my working hypothesis. There's an outside chance that he actually means it, in which case a) he'll be missing out on an opportunity to enjoy himself, and  the community will be better off.

Also, keep in mind the paperwork and delays involved in releasing working updates on 3 platforms. It isn't an easy process.

How about in two months we all refer back to this thread when ME3 MP is only played by the "loyalists" who apparently have more dignity than I for sticking with a busted product.
