I'm grown up, hard working man. I often spend 12h at work and when I come home I want the service I paid for rendered. Not tommorow not in few hours but when I see fit. Because sadly I don't have whole day like some lazy bastards who can't contain themselves over few lines of text. I need to uwind/eat something/wash myself and get some sleep before the next day. And if I don't get my service here I'll just go somewhere else and spend my money there. And will advise my friends to do likewise. And if You think that grown ups have time to waste on things other than game itself then you are sadly mistaken.

Okay, then let's take this at this level: What did you get for your 60 bucks? You hit the nail on the head friend.  2 dedicated months, check my manifest.  Every day here.  I NEVER made the claim that I did not enjoy the time I had in.  I assumed the title would provide the context.  "Greed kills another DREAM"  

Dream is the key word there.  Nobody says that about something they didn't love.   I love this game, both the SP and the MP.  HOWEVER, i do not agree with how many of the issues associated with the game have been handled, and WHEN the next game comes out I will put this down and play that.   My list of complaints was very specific and easy enough to research.   I didn't think I was going to have to put it any simpler than I did in my original post but apparently some of us have selective reading skills and fail to grasp the soul.  

And to those of you that think it's just me and "50" other people .....LOLOLOLOL.   It's a bit more than that.  You aren't factoring in the people that don't give enough of a sh*t  to post a lamentful remark before getting bored and moving on.   

You aren't factoring in the people who understand that **** happens in any online game.  The issues with this game aren't that serious.  I'd understand your anger (although still disagree with it) were you on a subscription based format.  They'll get **** fixed and it'll be back up and we'll all be playing it again.  Eventually something better will come and we'll stop playing.  The only thing you are doing is making a big deal out of the normal process of things.  

I don't really agree with the way they have handled bugs, their complete silence on well known and common issues, it's irksome to me too.  But ya know what, this **** takes time.   You want to leave, fine leave.  I don't understand why you feel the need to claim from on high your reasons like you need some sort of validation.  And let me know how the rest of your online gaming experience goes, I am sure it'll be bugless with 0 down time~~

I myself am a working man, closer to the 30 than to the 20, and I also don't have time to waste. Trust me, I'd also love to play a few rounds of MP right now. But I will not walk away from a game that I actually like just because it happens to be down one evening. That would be completely ridiculous. If the game would be down every week then I'd surely consider walking away and advising my friends to do so. But not because they have a one-time (so far) screw up with their pack distribution. This is IT, stuff gets f*cked all the time. Games are no different.
When the game is down I'll play the SP, something else, meet some friends, enjoy the weather, do some sports, whatever? I just really can't stand people who are throwing a tantrum because their game doesn't work for a few hours. That is not specific to the Mass Effect MP, it's far worse in WoW for example. And the worst thing about that is: It doesn't help. Not one bit. It only pisses people off, you don't get any kind of refund or reward for this (only if the company is feeling particularly generous today AND screwed up majorly), you don't make it work faster, and you won't get people away from the game if they like it. So I really, really, REALLY don't see the point in these threads.

Although I must admit that my tone in that post was possibly a bit too rough.

Yes me too.   Like a grown up I exercise my paitence  then when the original service is finallyl fixed I go back and play the previous game, assuming I actually enjoy it more.  Since I am a grown up, I am also a realist, and realize that this is an issue I have experienced with every single online product I have ever used and I know Bioware, despite their talent, still have to deal witht the realities of the net and bugs in code.

You said  poor product maintenance.  That is not only easily attributed to the recent/current downtime, the fact that this post comes along while this issue exists in the first place with little to no clarification from you it's not only a logical jump but it's expected.  

But hey it's cool, pass off your inability to clarify things with generalized reasons as everyone elses problem.   If you don't give specifics it's up to us the reader to make assumptions on what it is you are referring to.

we played 2 games.  The second game I was level 16, and I beat you by a little over 17k then as well.   Get over it, I'm better than you.  Dont flame my posts with your BS because you didn't top the scoreboard for a couple games.

You had that GPS and you were all butt hurt because I dusted your score by 40k with my scorpion using the same class, but my guy was level 6 and yours was 20.  And no, you didn't revive sh*t.  Stop lying.   BTW it wasn't a PUG lobby.  You were the pick up guy.  I knew the other 2, and yes they are fans.     

You did beat my score, only by about 10,000.  you were lvl 16, full melee build, i was 20 but had a different setup.  debuffing and blasting primes and groups so you could mop up like a good little maid.  and i don't know how many times i had to pick your broken platform off the ground.

There can be no other reason for making this post other than that. You could have just quietly put the game back in its case and played something else, but no. Insted you came here to insult a game that others are still enjoying just to see how many people you could ******-off.

Well thank you for enlightening me as to my intention with this post.  I am angry. But It's not for you or anyone else to give me direction on how to express that anger.  My arrangement is with Bioware and they provided a Forum for me and anyone else to do just that.   I'm not insulting anyone, and I know the professionals at Bioware don't interpret my post as such.  If anything it is a heartfelt lament for a once loved product.  This is EXACTLY where I am to express this, and I did it with civility and poise.   I wasn't looking to be validated, more to be heard amidst the din of these fast changing forums in an effort to facilitate the necesarry changes to keep this game alive as long as possible.
