Hello,

as the title says, there is this user who keeps insulting me via private message.

I never interacted directly with this user, neither in game (Mass Effect 3) nor in the forums (I only post in the Mass Effect 3 subsection), and I have never insulted anyone or even given anyone reason to insult me.

The 95% of my posts are in this thread (link to my first post), and as you can see we all have been generally polite toward each other (and with no sign of the user bothering me).

I can't even block him because he blocked me beforehand and unblocks me just to send me another message and then blocks me again so that I can't access his profile to block him.

I have kept our "conversation" in my inbox, and I can provide to a moderator his username and access to my account to verify the message (or a pic of it).

My personal opinion is that the likes of him should not be allowed in a place of civil interaction, and I hope that measures are taken in this regard.

Pick a live person out who is also a Bioware Moderator and send that person a PM. The limited level of oversight available from real Bioware people in here is irregular and your type of problem doesn't sound like the sort of thing likely to attract attention. All of the forums on this site are basically just for gamers to contact other gamers.

To blocks someone who has already blocked you, go to Profile --> Privacy Options --> Add New Person --> Enter the person's username and *wait* as the system searches for the username in the database. A window will display all the users whose names match your search, and you can then click on the person's name who you wish to block.

Note: Blocking someone only prevents them from being able to see anything on your profile or to send you a PM. It is not an ignore feature for the forums. There is no ignore feature for the forums.

What Pacifien said. It's much better to block people through your profile privacy settings.
