synth/control/destroy Bad Endings or Good but wasted Variables?

When ME 3 ends with C/D/S  Alot of people say thats a terrible ending... But what if it wasn't an ending and just the final choice leading to ending combinations of Destroy the council or save the council destroy the collector base or save it and of course ME3's choices as it is theres 12 diffrent possible endings if you do the math. A renegade could come out with "Rise of Humanity" while a paragon could end with "A Galaxy United" and someone who Saved the council but kept the base and Synthesized could have  "Evolution is the Only way" and 9 other choices. hell if 1 or 2 had another choice in the end or 3 had 4 choices then you could have had 16 endings like people seem to keep quoting. I only expected a final choice of 2 Control and Destroy which would have made 9 endings. But when you end ME3 just like ME1 and ME2 it feels as if your trying to lead to ME4 which will then add even more possible combinations but since theres no way to juggle all outcomes leading to the exact same way of life without completely ignoring synthesis and making it "Yeah we're all synthesized now but nobody wants to talk about it" The next time a series comes out with import system and multiple endings for each game im going to tell the company in advance that in my opinion the final end choices should combine into many diffrent endings. Also Not going to get the game till i can buy it used.
