My son made me a lovely, funny Hawke avatar, but I don't know if I can upload it to my profile. There seem to be plenty of unofficial avatars out there, so it's obviously possible. Any advice welcomed.

I'm going to try and answer in a way that makes sense! First, you need a character that you are NOT going to play. I used one that I gave up on. Make sure the characters picture is showing up on your game profile here. Next, you need to make sure your NEW pic is the right size. DA2 portraits are 92x92. You will also need to re-name your new pic 'Name_portrait.PNG'. "Name" being the characters name you working with.And yes, it needs to be in PNG format. Next your going to replace the portrait of the character your not using You need to get to this characters folder. On my computer it go's like this: My Documents - Bioware - Dragon age 2 - Characters. Once there, open the characters folder and find their Portrait. It will be in PNG format. Delete this pic, then Copy and Paste in your new pic. Just close your folders. Wait an hour or so. Then your new pic should be showing up here on your game characters profile. You can then choose to use it as your avatar. Hope that helps! If not, you can ask me about something, and I'll do my best to answer. Good luck:)
