In ME2 I really wanted Samara as a LI and with the almost kiss scene but not quite I was holding out some hope for ME3.

Is there any progress made in ME3 can you get a kiss. (All I have had is some friendly chats)

I haven't found anything. Though the paragon interrupt is kind of fun.

Nope all ya get is a single differnt line of unique dialogue that makes matters sting worse. Samara takes Sheps hand and tells him/her "Your time is precious, spend it wisely, and with those you care for"  After which we don't even get any reply options, we're forced to sit there all dumb like and let Samara walk away, from us. In what could very well be our last chance to give things a chance.

It really stings that that was how they handled continuation of things. If you wanted more Samara in ME3 please join us in this fight right here a group called Samara fans Take a Stand and Unite. Sometimes shorted to Samara Fans Unite. Trust me it's a group that's doing everything to raise awareness for Samaritans, and all memebers are valued and any promotion we get from members or anyone that can further our fight is greatly apretiate

I feel the opposite, not pressing the interrupt is one of the more "cinematic" moments in the game. First time through I didn't actually think she'd pull the trigger, just a "threat" of some sort.

Sorry I have disagree with you on not taking the paragon interrupt. I'd never be able to let Samara kill herself and I'd never be able to let her die.

Guess that's just how important that one character is to everyone's ME Story. OUR LI, keeps our virtual Shepards going, fighting the fight, and is the reason to win. Ohh Samara you were my LI, and Here I feel all broken hearted about My Shep spend his last night alone in his undies wondering about Samara,

Wow I really feel bad for all the Thane and Jacob fan girls out there heh maybe they couldn't even finish the game because of it.

@gears...I'm with you mate. My Shep slept all alone too. Oh wait, that's cuz Garrus was already awake, dressed and sitting in a chair? Whatthell? I didn't bother with my absolute canon ThaneShep because I didn't have the heart. I payed $130 NZD for a one playthrough game.

*hugs* I totally would have romanced Samara with Sheploo...I did try but she shut me down. It's just not fair what they did to our ME2 romances.

If you tried to romance her in ME2 and shes says ''another time another life'' in ME3 she will, when saying goodbye say''Your time is precious spend it with those who care for you.'' She also says something about the life of a justicar being ''lonely often to the point of pain.''
If you didn't try to romance her in ME2, she will just say goodbye and thats about it.

She looked pretty upset after your tried to romance her in ME2, I think she did like Shep but that BLOODY CODE got in the way. It would have been great to romance her. What a shame.

She is a character introduced in ME2, it means NO.

Besides a romance with a better asari than the blue pet is the last thing Walters wanted in the game.

The Samara and Shep relationship deserved better than it got.

I would have loved to press her on getting together again even if it meant that she would shut me down twice. Not even really having an option and the writers only giving us that 1 line is just poorly done.

I think Ashira summed it up best when she said "One single different indirect line that's so subtle it has to be pointed out to the people it's aimed at. That's what we got, and it don't count as continuation if it has to be pointed out to the Samara fans."
