Shame that people can't get over the fact that i don't like Liara, and are unable to see my actual point of BioWare's shoddy and lazy work regarding the games LI sub plot.

I made this thread to tell BioWare 'hey, not everybody likes Liara! So why make her the canon LI and sideline the rest?.'

And if you're complaining that Liara is the only viable biotic on your squad then play a biotic or use the DLC with Javik. But for goddess sake don't remove James. He's the ONLY character in the game that's dumber than Shepard.

I am mad. Ashley is angsty, whilst Kaiden is the perfect wingman.

Plus, Carth. Everytime I hear him I get epic KOTOR nostalgia.

It's all good, OP. Liara is easily the worst character of the ME series, imo. Not to mention being my least favorite fictional character of all time, bar none. And this is coming from someone who used to read a couple of books a week. Wish I still had the time for that. Anyway, back to TOR .

Ah someone who shares my viewpoint, how I just wanted take Liara and throw her out the nearest airlock.

That aside my dislike of her stems from all the teenage wangst she exudes in ME1, plus her interest in Shepard comes from his experience with the prothean beckon and not him/her as a person.

Also all the invading of Shep's personal space in ME3, that's Tali's job.

To be honest I barely ever used either of them. Garrus and Tali are basically my staple squadies for every game. The only thing I had to base my Virmire decision off of was our conversations on the SR1.

At the time Ashley seemed like a more organic character with more places to go, but considering she just becomes a paranoid D-bag I'll probably just flip a coin when I have to choose between them on my next playthrough.

You know it really is sad the ME2 romances got the shaft. I really liked Jack and planned to do a playthrough just to romance her some time this summer. But with her romance being nearly nonexistant in ME3 and how I know it will all end... 

Just doesn't seem worth it now.
