 Even though there hasn't been an offical title announced yet, but there is something under construction, could we possibley have a Dragon Age: "The Next Thing" forum? Just look at the DA2 forums, it's ALL about DA3, so wouldn't it make since, even if we don't slap a proper title on it until later?

That would be nice. Great for useless but fun speculation and arguing over what 'may' be, but still ultimately coming back to the templar and mage conflict. Or on the origin of the darkspawn, or anything else.

Seems like a good idea, but without some clues on what we can expect, say what country we'll be playing in, if we are only human or if we have the race choice again, it may be difficult to speculate.

6 months before release for marketing purpose. They're still in hypothetical stage. So it's unlikely, it will  be released next year.

If they start showcasing something by next month then they can put something out in time for the holidays. 
That might be what they are aiming for actually, to try and get more people to buy it.

They just started working on the Next Thing. I'd be very, very surprised (and rather disappointed) if they tried to push the whole thing out the door in six months.

Really, it's better for everyone if they just take their time with this one and get it right. Maybe the holidays next year. Or whenever it's done.

Well they did start working on the "Next Thing" last year and slowly more information is creeping out.

I doubt will see an option to pre-order the game before the end of the year. My guess is the earliest is Jan 2013.

Something tells me we may end up seeing a trailer for the game sometime in July-Aug.

But, hey as much as I want Dragon Age 3 now, I rather have them take their time then rush it out the door like they did Dragon Age 2.

How long does it usually take them to make the official announcement? I discovered DA:O the same month DA2 came out so I'm unfamiliar with Bioware's usual protocol on that sort of thing.

Well as far as a da3 forum would be nice , the whole thing will be about "please get back to da , da2 sucked " and "why all romance are bi?!!?" .That kind of thing , mostly.
Since we don't know much about da3 ,I don't see the point right now.

And i hope they take their time , and change the way they use publicity .I'm sorry to say this but when Bioware sell their game , they mostly look like bad carpet seller .

You know , and later you find out they were telling half truth (or lies) because this part of the game wasn't already done , or some part of the game were quite bad and they knew it....

I love DA2 but i remember one of the developper saying "you will see Kirkwall change as the years pass"...Well i did see that they put a statue of Hawke and some small things ,but they were really nothing to brag about.

So it's better if they keep quiet till they really have some good things to say .

There was a Hawke statue? Where in Kirkwall is it? I never noticed any statue.

Yeah in act 3 in the dock , it doesn't look like Hawke at all , but you can't mistake the Arishok head that's under its feet.

The only Hawke statue I saw was in the Gallows, and it's a real hawk, not a human.

Thats a gaurd statue, not hawke. look at the armor

I'm not sure it's a guard.I always assume it was Hawke as a "champion".
Like it's exaggereted on purpose with the flaming sword and all.
But I guess it could be anyone or just a symbol of Kirkwall being victorious.
I'd like to think it's supposed to be Hawke , but the chantry , guard etc went to the sculptor and wanted a piece of the cake, and it end up like this.
