For those that don't know where it is (figure it is easier to just write it out now):
- Open Origin
- Look for the button with a Gear and down arrow
- Click on it, then click "Go Offline"
Now you can play Single-Player (with DLC's).
I hope this helps some people.

Online Tech Support is also very clearly outsourced, and a number of their operaters have no idea what they are talking about, or even how to properly handle communicating with people. I've had one respond to a problem of something not working by responding: So?
In theory, rebuying a pass would actually make sense if your pack didn't work; the tech person isn't *technically* wrong - but they don't understand the underlaying problem.
In my experience with using them, Tech Support should generally be regarded as likely not knowing what they're talking about, and generally you need to take baby steps to make sure they understand what is going on.

try clicking "purchase"... just boots you back to the main screen with an error

PC doesn't actually use Passes. So we can't actually buy them.
And I'm actually kind of sure that Xbox and PSN won't let you repurchase the pass, because it's a one time purchase.

It's a matter of not understanding what the end user is experiencing as a problem; a side effect of technical support staff that aren't actually technical staff, and rather are just trained to handle day-to-day-problems, and kind of have to wing it on the more intricate problems.
Outsourcing is great at many things; good quality of service is not usually one of those things.

I wasn't having a go, I was just letting you know what happens if you actually TRY to buy one, which you can't.
