Are most people posting in this thread people who purchased the Collector Edition?

I know I had issues all weekend trying to get the stupid EA server to verify my DLC so I could play single/multi-player.

DRM is pointless when pirates get more joy out of the game than legitimate buyers (although I guess EA's policy is that anyone with money to spend on their games isn't spending enough to be entitled to play it).

Same here, I own CE, and I had no problems with playing SP/MP about 15 hours ago, but I didn't get any victory/commendation packs or premium spectre packs. And now it asks for an online pass and it's unable to authorize my DLCs. Great... I hope you'll be able to fix it fast, guys!

This is not so much of a "fix" as it is a "work around" and as I PAID for From Ashes when i bought collectors edition... I condsider is borked

I'm not going crazy without the game, but I am irritated that I can't even play single player.  I guess technically I could, but why would I want to start a whole new game from scratch when I already have a save with my same Shepard?  That would be silly.  I'm sure that this other person feels the same way.

And I'm also irritated because I want my commendation pack, which I haven't gotten, and I can't get onto multiplayer to get it.  I doubt they're extending the Premium Spectre Pack availability for those of us who cannot connect, which is triply lame.

While it's down, I can play Minecraft, Sims 3, Amalur, Witcher, etc.  So it's not a huge deal, but, I definitely understand those who are agitated.  You can tell them to calm down all you want, but especially for those of us who bought the N7 Collectors Edition, we've sunk a lot of cash into this game, and first we got a horribly disappointing ending, and now we can't even have multiplayer--which is pretty much the only part of ME3 I've played since I beat the main storyline, due to the uber-depressing dissatisfying ending.  So while it may be annoying that people are complaining and upset, they also have a valid point.

Here's hoping they get their servers back to normal soon.

It would be nice if someone from ea or bioware logged in and told us. Hey, you know those servers that we should have replaced six months ago but saved the money and instead paid it out in bonuses? Well they're on the fritz, but don't fret, as someone is on their way to radio shack as we speak and we'll have the new gear up and running in about 7-10 days.

I agree, that is not reason why should my world fall apart but just a presence of DRM for SP is so irritating, if there is pirate of Caribean than he doesn´t care abour DRM because there is peoples smart enough to create bypass, but policy against owners of game copy is so mad, i agree this should be for multiplayer but for SP it is useless

Exactly, call me entitled but i do expect some compensation for this bull****, especially now that they stated the 24-48 hour timeframe.

Live in Russia, got N7 Collector's Edition, now have that "online pass issue". On local forums there are lots of people with the same problem. I'm thinking about writing Bioware a letter about sweet sweet bugs in the game, that are still in it after two months since release. Really, I haven't seen such a glitchy game for...hell, ages. Every new update brings new bugs. Somebody knows where I could send my letter for those...hm,developers.

It's not the 26mb patch. Same thing happens without it.
