So yeah, add me to the list of people afflicted with this imbecilic glitch. PC version, Digital Deluxe, Windows 7 64-bit ultimate. CS rep last night told me to redownload the game. It's taking forever, and from what I've read, it will do jack squat to solve this problem.

God I hate dealing with EA.

I checked for an update, which did nothing.  I did a re-installation.  Same result.  Maybe I can get a refund and buy some other game that works.

I did an update check, got a 9GB download  

But still nothing. I have never in my 25 years of gaming have ever had as meny problems with a game as ME3.

Same situation here. Was playing it perfectly fine until last evening (I live in Germany, so that was about 18 hours ago). Fired it up today and whoosh. Look at that thing. It has **** YOU written all over it. Nearly had a heart attack thinking I had managed to break it somehow. Oh well. Maybe if enough people start to get angry something will happen.

For God's sake Bioware its time to do something. please fix the issue or just give up the goat with the multiplayer. It fun, but not worth the headache that it keeps causing. It seems like multiplayer is beyond you guys at this point.

Crap. Hearing this problem is coming back makes me nervous. I've already had to deal with this problem once (had to get EA LiveChat to give me a new product code for ME3 and From Ashes, uninstall, download the game with the new product code despite having a physical copy, but at least it worked after). I really don't want this happening again. The weird thing is, is that it only seems to happen after patching the game. My problem happened after the 1.2 patch, some people seemed to have the problem shortly after the game was released, and now again after another game update... If I get home this afternoon and have this problem again, I'll be pissed. And just to note, I was able to play both SP and MP last night (~10:30 pm CST) with no problems. I'll update everyone with what happens.

oh just out of curiosity , i'm sure you folks know diablo 3 is coming out in 2 weeks,
i've already pre-ordered it and wanted to share my free time to play between it and mass effect 3 mp ,
are these dark days ( can't log to mp yesterday / unable to validate the game today) ways of pushing me to reduce my time on me3 and shift my entire focus on diablo 3?
I love this game and the online friends i have made , but this issues really make me question the morality of my sanity of sticking for me3.
