I have the same problem. I contacted EA customer support and all they said was that they are aware of the problem and that there is no ETA for a fix. Here is the direct quote.

Larry S:[/b]I understand your concern. I'm sorry, there's no ETA provided till now, however, it will be fixed as soon as possible as we are working on the servers.

He went on to say that SP DLC should not be effected by this problem, but to my knowledge, I have to connect to the servers to authorize even the SP DLC. So hell if I know......

I don't know about you guys, but this reeks like a hacker attack to me. I have to admit, that i don't know much about online game-mechanics, but it sure is strange that only part of the players lose their multiplayer-pass all of the sudden.

I have yet to see Bioware make any formal announcements about damage control of any form. You would think that with a game this popular and people having to spend $80 on the collector's edition, that they might at least dedicate one or two people to releasing announcements of problems rather than letting every thread on the tech support forums turn into a threadnaught.

they have posted in this very thread (that's why it says bioware under the title in the forum), they've also tweeted responses to peoples questions about the issue.

it's got nothing to do with what edition you have.

Nothing's set in stone, I'm just trying to look for a pattern. If it has no correlation with the edition, then what are the conditions that some can play and others can't?

So many troubles ... maybe because it's the first ME cooperation mode? They have no expirience in it?

We're looking into the erroneous online pass message as we speak, I've no ETA right now but this is being worked on as a priority by the engineering team.

Will it be fixed before the chance to obtain Victory/Commendation packs from the last event goes away?  Because I still have not been able to claim mine.

I got the Collector's Edition, BTW, in case anyone cares.

It's also preventing me from getting into the game itself, because without the online pass, it apparently can't authenticate the DLC that it has to check every frelling time I log in for some moronic reason.

At least two people on my friendlist are able to play and experienced no problems at all. Now that's strange.

Can you verify if they have the N7 edition or vanilla?

Origin shows it's vanilla. 3rd person has Spanish N7 Digital Deluxe.

"Victory Packs and Commendation Packs will arrive no later than Thursday, May 3rd. Make sure to redeem them and prepare for battle. We’re currently planning our course of action for the next N7 operation – stay tuned to the comms for more information on the next N7 operation. "

Nice stab in the back there Bioware, I prefer to have a stable game that I paid a lot of money for rather then a chance to earn a fance hat!

N7 Collectors Edition here and getting the same issue with Cerberus Code
redemption. I did one game of Multiplayer and redeemed the Commendation
Pack from the weekend event and then went to do single player. I was
able to get into Multiplayer after the single player session ended but I
didnt play. I completely closed the game and was bored again so decided
to load it back up and start a new game plus but upon the reload, the
Online Pass/Cerberus Code redemption popped up after the Mass Effect 3
"hit any key to enter" prompt screen. Wont let me access my DLC content
now. Same issue as everyone else, using my real code does not work and
above the code entry box is some strange $310000 something number.

EDIT:
Forgot to mention, it feels like last time when the EA login issue was
preventing people from accessing their DLC content for several days.
That also happened right after redeeming weekend event multiplayer prize
boxes. My bet is that it has something to do with multiplayer and/or
those event packs.

yeah I have $315000 something too.

it's not a price tho, it's some kind of missing string/error codey thing

If they find out that these EA Login/Online Pass/Cerberus Code issues are because of their weekend event rewards then I hope the solution is more than a moderator fixing individual accounts based on their forum post like last time. I am not sure if my last case was fixed by that moderator, but my account was able to login soon after I made a post about it in the thread where the Bioware guy was posting and actively asking who else had the login problem. Many people were also saying that the Bioware moderator was actively fixing accounts that posted but I dont know for sure.

If it is because of those free prize packs then I am wondering what about those packs could be causing the problem. Since they are awarded days after the event has ended, is there some error that is generated when mass numbers of players login to the multiplayer store to redeem their packs and the server side tracking gets overloaded while it figures out who participated, accomplished the goals and who gets awarded? Maybe instead do a token system where if you participated in any event and accomplished the event's goals then you instantly get awarded medals to spend on prize packs that are available at a later date? I dont know but it sucks that I am missing the Premium Spectre Packs...

Ah yes, "Online Pass Issues." We have dismissed that claim.

I know that joke has been used a million times for other things but I found this hilarious.  Especially since Bioware has barely said anything about breaking the game for most PC users.

Well, that's the first evidence I've heard that Vanilla users are able to play where N7 users arent. If anyone else can verify that all vanilla users can play, we've got ourselves a nice pattern.

I recall when installing my N7 copy that I was never asked to enter an online pass, that all of it was taken care of in the background. If that has anything to do with the current issue, that might lead to a possible resolution should anyone of influence sees this.

Someone should get fired over this. This happened before and this still isn't fixed. They made it worse somehow.

INCOMPETENCE.

This was the response I received from EA a few minutes ago:

"Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts again.

I appreciate your involvement towards resolving the issue. To provide online pass code is the responsibility of the retailer but I will provide you the new online pass code because we want to see you to enjoy game. To proceed your request, please send me the following details.

- Scanned copy of the game manual
- Purchase receipt of the game
- Any other proof of purchase.
- Name of the PSN ID.
- Email address on which the PSN ID is linked.

Electronic Arts values your affiliation and looks forward to hear from you. Also, in case of any help, please get in touch with us anytime. Alternatively, please visit our extensive knowledge base online: http://help.ea.com/

Now, from what I've read today, if he gives me a new code, I will lose everything I have: all character data, all weapons, all consumables...all of it. Furthermore, this seems like this individual either doesn't *know* about the worldwide problem or is attempting to deflect my attention from something else (perhaps EA's server problem).  I also don't understand why he can possibly say that the online pass code is the RETAILER'S responsibility???

Thoughts?

I had to edit my post - one person is using Spanish N7 Digital Deluxe and is playing MP.

That's what I was told at live support few hours ago. A new code would purge all data, but "they are working on the issue bla bla bla bla".

it's the only thing that makes sense, other services have multiple servers with the account details on, when one is down for maintenance the others aren't and so some people can get on and others can't.

Got an N7 Collectors edition and its now requiring an online pass that I neither have nor can purchase, it was working right up untill the event awards were annouced. Is it that hard to release working content I mean really where is the quality control?

What a freaking load of nonsense, something similar to this happened not so long ago with a DLC pack I got which would not recognise for w/e reason. If its that hard to provide decent servers maybe EA should forget about DRM and save some money as it doesn't stop Pirates pirating their software anyway.

Don't get a new code. Try again untill someone helps you. It's a problem on their end. Not your fault. TENACY.
