I have indeed not imported a me2 save file yet due to multiplayer catching my attention, and i do not have any problems with playing. Dont get any erroe messages or being prompt to redeem cerberus code.Iniquus wrote...

EA customer service monkey - has a lot of health, talks in gibberish, can't really harm nor help you
EA Origin designer - his gun keeps overheating and breaking
EA manager - steals your credits if you don't kill him with fire fast enough

On the Cerberus note, I tried entering my ME2 online pass code just for giggles, I get the same loop as everyone else anyways. Worth a shot, I thought.
