Ok so I've vaguely made a bit of an embarressment of myself on the forum banging on about all the love stuff so I wanted to redeem myself a bit.

I have been playing around with the dog - taking him with me when I explore places and things and he's absolutely brilliant.  Very funny.  His interactions with the rest of your party are great.  And I love it that he finds things.  I gave the dog drool covered cake to Alistair and got a whole +5 approval.  Nearly fell off my chair laughing.

I also took him to Denerim where he proceeded to find a small boy that he wanted to keep.  It was a short segment but also very funny.

Are there any other top dog moments I should look out for?

And so you know, I've called mine Baldur.

Dog seems to love Morrigan. No matter who your romantic interest may be, Dog has a thing for Morrigan...

You should have given the cake to Sten, that and cookies is the only thing he likes about the place.

One odd thing I have noticed, at the start the Roadkill (thats his name) was 100% "love" and now he is 100% "friendly" ?? Did I leave him in camp to long?

I would be carefull about useing the terms "banging on about all the love stuff" and "I have been playing around with the dog" in the same post

The fact that he marks your territory for you giving you a decent set of bonuses is great too. Plus hes the only way to complete the effort set! See the effort was worth it to bring Rex along

Shame you can't make him romance schmooples or whatever that nug is called
Or better yet, if you could have romanced that nug, he would have loved the special at the pearl

I came across the conversation with Sten about cookies just recently and was a bit annoyed I'd given cake to Alistair.  On the other hand, I respect Sten very much and would feel bad about passing off drool covered cake to him but watching Alistair scoff his way merrily through same would be quite amusing.

Hee hee yes, that did occur to me but I left it as it was for amusement sake.  Very glad someone noticed.

I called my dog Saxon. He's the best dog in the world. He ate Lassie. And lots of darkspawn too.

He can mark his territory all over the place if you find landmarks. Not sure why though...
