130% damage boost on the best weapons in the game and broken cooldown times, when the invisibility is good enough by itself.

The whole Infiltrator class is overpowered. Better with weapons that the solders and tech powers almost as good as an engineer.

If BE do the same amount of damage as overload - yet flat out damage across the board...it's OP. They're just nerfing the radius. This is a good change. BE an atlas - I've managed to kill many phantoms hiding behind him without even trying.

It's the first thing I thought of. They nerfed biotic explosions which can be dodged, ruined by teamates, etc, and can only really be easily spammed by one character, and left uber cloak untouched? Leave it the way it is.

Biotic explosions should have an increase in damage to make up for the nerf.

Yes because phantoms are hard to kill or something. :? Not the point Cloak is way more OP than BE will ever be.

Quick question: I just specced a power damage/Sabotage Quarian infiltrator to see how the changes worked. While it feels reasonably powerful (oneshots Troopers on bronze), Sabotage kills don't seem to count as kills on the ticker in the lower left, or contribute to player score unless they've already done damage to the target via some other means, ie shot them at least once. I don't know if this was a quirk of Sabotage in MP before, but I thought it worth mentioning here in case it's a new bug.
On the bright side, this means it's now theoretically possible to solo Cerberus without scoring any points.

Asari Adepts are overpowered. Would you say the same about Asari Justicars, Human Adepts, and Drell Adepts?

Nerfing teamwork!  Sad I know.  Going from 3-5 to 2-4 shouldn't be that big of a deal, should it?

I don't know how large a meter is in the game. It might be a significant power loss or trivial.


HumSent is even more poweful than AA.

Lol...I never mentioned anything about cloak..someone is a little frustrated. I agree cloak is OP. My post was simply about BE...

I like nade spamming even more now.

Cry more about BE, it's ridiculously good and requires zero skill.

The point is, that bioware need to stop randomly picking a few things out of the 20 or so that need to be changed. They should try and address everything in one go.

These forums explode in a river of tears anytime anything is nerfed.

The only thing that surprises me about this is that I haven't seen a new thread pop up here that proclaims biotics a dead thing, honestly.

Oh ok then, it is a debuff power, so it is supposed to be horrible.  That solves that issue.

Cryo should be instant like energy drain, etc, weaken shields, and have a bigger radius or duration  Try using the rank 6 cloak power upgrade with a human infiltrator, or trying to sustain a proper AoE cycle with a Quarian Engineer.

Stop nerfing stuff.

Capcom tried to balance Super Street Fighter 4 by nerfing a lot of characters and the game became a borefest, with only 10 real characters AT BEST. They only really balanced the game in AE 2012, the latest version of street fighter 4, where Capcom mostly buffed the cast (there where very few nerfs).

Keep in mind that SF4 is a highly competitive game, with a lot of tournament money involved.

Sabotage kills never gave points or showed up at the bottom of the screen, unless someone damages the target with something else.

If you also spec for power damage and shoot from cloak, it oneshots cerberus troopers on gold, and leaves the cannibals with 2 bars.

Lol. BE needed a nerf. They're ridiculously strong. So is cloak. But if they're nerfing BE good.

This is coming from drell/justicar/human adept. The damage done is way too strong, if they're simply reducing the radius of the explosion by 1m.. I think you can suck it up and deal with it. They're not nerfing the damage (which is the point of the explosion).

zero skill? sort of.
ridiculously good? eh, not so much IMO.

In decent teams that are NOT biotic oriented, it's pretty hard to find clumps of enemies to AOE to death because they tend to get picked off by the infiltrators and other classes.

in teams that are heavily biotic, BE is very very good.
BUT it's arguable that coordination with  justicars, asari adepts, and drell adepts is a "skill" in its own right.
It's not that common for players to coordinate with one another.

the sniper damage boost isn't additive.
So once you factor in everything you're talking more along the lines of a 166% damage boost.

that being said I don't consider sniper rifles to be the "best weapons in the game".
They have below average sustained DPS
They tend to weigh a lot
their scopes zoom in WAY too much, I'd much rather have a pistol scope
and you're prone to overkill losses.

infiltrators are probably the best class in the game though.
I just don't consider sniper rifles inherently good weapons.

Hmm, will have to see how the BE nerf plays out.

Well, 4 metres is still decent enough; at least the damage output is unchanged.

Love the changes, especially the BE nerf. Keep it up.

Would like to see shockwave and the autos buffed again next week along with a few other buffs/nerfs.
