ridiculously good? eh, not so much IMO.

In decent teams that are NOT biotic oriented, it's pretty hard to find clumps of enemies to AOE to death because they tend to get picked off by the infiltrators and other classes.

in teams that are heavily biotic, BE is very very good.
BUT it's arguable that coordination with  justicars, asari adepts, and drell adepts is a "skill" in its own right.
It's not that common for players to coordinate with one another.


I have played with people who are either too dumb to coordinate power attacks, or just blatantly refuse to and mess everything up.

Good... I'll have to test the Wraith to see if it's a real improvement, like the updated Hurricane...

Now, would you kindly work on the 2 Assault Rifles/Grenade Lauchers... I have a Falcon VII and a Striker V that both collect dust because I need an average of 3 shots to kill a grunt!... And FYI, it's not because I miss my target...

It's very sad to see biotics nerfed. They were a real incentive for the team to work together.

Hopefully it won't continue or we'll have teams of 1 man heroes running around.

The Wraith is still bad... the Arc Pistol is still bad, they forgot to buff the other grenades but it all seems a step in the right direction. Now if only they gave the Wraith the inherent penetration it is supposed to have....

NIce! still no fix for bugs and glitches. And persistent character cards drop-rate. The only patch that mentions any fixes for a bug or glitch is the March 13 patch *Fixed a bug where Hunters would never re-cloak after decloaking to fire on Gold.

I noticed the trend that most of the patch only deals with incrementing/decrementing values for weapon damage/hp/shield/xp/enemy population/reward. When will a real patch be deployed guys? damn really... :/

There's still incentive.

Just now you won't kill 3 Phantoms just by using biotic explosions on an Atlas.

Guess Human Adepts will soon have to resort to harsh language as an offensive power.

I wonder if Bio realizes that the range on Shockwave is only ten meters,making it a close quarters affair and now for very little pay out or death. Realize Warp/Shockwave is the the human Adept only combo for armored or shielded targets ?

Don't like the BE decrease, especially for Vanguards. I don't really like anything that downgrades 9 classes at once.

I do like the credit shift, because now getting to round 6 of gold is more valuable than clearing silver. This should push people to try gold matches more regularly, which will hopefully lead to fewer "oh man, this person really shouldn't be in gold" moments, as experienced last weekend.

I don't really get the experience boosts for random/random since experience is not a valuable commodity in MP, but I suppose it makes promoting easier. Two bronze matches should get you to back up to level 10 now.  That said, it also makes the 100k from character cards extra useless; a random/random bronze match will just about always double that in <15 minutes of play time.

As always, the weekly balance changes are ONLY changes to the .bin (.ini) files that override defaults, there is no patch, there is no bugfixes unless it's something you yourself could do by edting Coalesced.bin. There is no download, it's all just numerical/value changes.

I almost wish they would just scrap everything and start over. The weapons stats are a total cluster **** of overlapping stats and roles. Smgs that are more powerful than assault rifles, pistols pretending to be battle rifles, and long list of guns not worth touching.

People seem to forget that Tactical Cloak is still subjective to how a PLAYER wants to play the Infiltrator class and spec Tactical Cloak. So they might not exactly spec it for full damage. I know I don't on my Geth Infiltrator since Hunter Mode helps as a passive but on rank 6 i still like to get speed and vision over damage.

There's also level of mods for the sniper rifles, ammo equips, weapon equips, armor equips that people are forgetting.

Be glad people are saying it's fine as it is and not asking for a BUFF which I imagine would happen if they ever decide to added a harder difficulty level. If anything the instant decloak bug that happens with the Geth Infiltrator needs to be fixed. I'm not sure if it happens with the other infiltrators though.

Ask your self this "Who will come and res me after I've gone done and do it unseen?" if you've answered infiltrator then you should not be asking for a nerf and thanking them.

I know infiltrators get a bad rep because there are some bad ones out there but when you get the good ones playing as a team and helping out where ever they can then you should be thankful.

It's the first thing I thought of. They nerfed biotic explosions which can be dodged, ruined by teamates, etc, and can only really be easily spammed by one character, and left uber cloak untouched? Leave it the way it is. 



totally agree with Sdrol117, 

if biotic explosions and tac cloak were both balanced (gonna try to avoid using the word nerf), i would be completely fine with the update.

I just dont see how biotic explosions which require ...
1) the knowledge of how to properly set one up and detonate (surprisingly find that too many fellow AA i play with, mostly on silver, dont detonate) 
2) the knowledge of a proper build to maximize the detonation 
3) your primer to actually hit the enemy and then for your detonator to hit the same enemy
4) not having primed enemy to be either killed by teammates or spam overloaded 

get balanced whereas tactical cloak where you can.. 
1) get the same cooldown regardless of what weapon(s) you are carrying (provided you exit the cloak cycle shortly after using cloak)
2) have the damage buff or whatever last a few seconds after you exit cloak
3) be able to use an extra power regardless if you chose the bonus power evolution or not (and in the case of SI, regen shields instantly) 
4) not be hindered or gimped by the actions of your teammates in any way (unless you keep having to revive them :whistle:

just my two cents for what its worth, and im not hating on infiltrators at all, they are actually my second favorite class behind the adept.

Nice changes to grenades, was hoping for a Saber weight reduction tho. Biotic Explosion being nerf doesnt really bother me they are still Top Tier.

This. Few classes encourage teamwork (Drell adept, justicar and geth engineer mainly), and few people play them, while most simply ignore this aspect when playing said classes (fact: almost everyone in public matches spec their geth turret for max damage and flamethrower)

Way to completely miss the point, champ.  If they are trying to balance classes, then they need to balance ALL classes.  This few things a week is ridiculous and makes the changes look arbitrary.

I don't understand. Wave 6 credits increased by 10%, wave 10 credits increased 10%, credits NOT increased. What's the point in this?

More credits gained if you die after Wave 6's objective, but before Wave 10's objective.
Less credits to people cheating to get credits.

Couple of reasons. Wish they would just fix the credit glitch itself, though.

Cloak is overpowered.  No idea how you can dispute that.  It does need a nerf, and things like Cryo Blast, SIngularity, Shockwave, Lift Grenade need buffs.  It is called BALANCE.  You cannot just keep buffing everything.


BS. It's okay if certain things are stronger or weaker than others. Not everything needs to be 100% balanced.

And just look at your post. Cloak, Cryo blast, singularity, shockwave, lif grenade...HOLY ****. You just want everything changed. Every week a TON of crap gets changed and EVERY WEEK you want MORE stuff changed.

BE's were obscenely overpowered before. The people complaining about the nerf to their radius need to get a grip. You can't use a buff only approach on this game and keep it from eventually becoming trivially easy for every class and build. Come on now.

But where are the extra credits coming from? Wave 3? That would mean that you get less credits if you have a fail team that can't get past wave 4, right? How does this help anyone? No, how does this do ANYTHING at all? Last time I heard, the credit glitch puts you on wave 10 of the previous game with the same credits as that game.

Seriously? You know what the least frustrating heavy was? The Atlas. Why? Because it rarely insta-kills like all the other heavies.
BW seems to be ignoring the forums and just using the game feedback for balancing. Would explain how they don't seem to know about all the bugs.

On the positive side, maybe the Arc Pistol will suck less now, and while Sabotage probably still blows against organics, it's nice to see a buff for it.

I honestly don't understand the increase to experience factors though. Now experience becomes useless 10-15% faster? Is that the solution to FB:W/G/G farming? Because it doesn't give any incentive to do Random anything in Gold.

Unfortunately, the major issues that plague ME3 have little to do with the balance, and mostly to do with poor design choices with regards to the store and rewards systems.
