Now I may be wishing for the stars here, but I felt I'd make a thread in regards to the extended cut which we should have coming sometime soon in the next few months.

Mainly my topic is on clarity and closure and how i HOPE we get some mileage out of the EC but it showcasing our choices and thus we can have "different" endings so to speak.

Now if the extended cut is a series of cutscenes, etc etc.  I do so hope that bioware will finally account for our "state of the universe" in the said cutscenes.  I would hope that as for clarity and closure every persons EC will be slightly different based on their choices over the course of the series.  I hope we'd get to see the effects of our decisions in various epilogues, even if they're only text (Ala DA:O).

I say this as seeing that a lot of us were expecting, not so much many different endings I feel, but different outcomes BASED on our decisions.  Such as my renegade shepard left a different universe than my paragon shepard, while some of his choices may have been similar, his relationships with certain people and races were completely different than each other and I would hope the EC will properly reflect said "states of the universe" between different games.

I know I may be asking a lot here out of hte EC, but I feel that is one of the few ways Bioware can make it so that people actually feel they got something out of it in a sense.  When I hear people say they want different endings, to me that means they want their actions up until that point to hopefully be accounted for in the finale.  Thats what I think we're all missing and what we want.  We want to see our Shepards impact, we want to see what happens to our crew and allies going forward, maybe not hundreds of years down the line here, but at least the immediate impact we had on the universe.
