I have this problem now when I try to join a friend's lobby, it stops communicating and just hangs where it says joining game so I have to restart the PS3 EA you need to fix all the bugs this game has, it's so freaking annoying

when you get to the choose character screen pick another charecter and when u get in the lobby(Should be able to, works on pc) change back to whatever charecter u wanted to play with

I have this problem, too, and cannot figure it out.
I can join random lobbies of all difficulty levels just fine. But when I try to join a friend's lobby via invite, I get trapped on an endless "joining session" screen (I know I am doomed once that little "communicating" symbol in upper left-hand corner finally gives up). I was able to enter a friend's room ONE TIME weeks ago (on second try), and that's it. Otherwise, I can't join their rooms. The ones whose rooms I cannot join, they cannot join mine either if I invite them. Some friends can enter my rooms via invite, but two in particular can't (and they are the ones whose rooms I cannot join either... save for one of them, whose room was the only one I could join weeks back and can't ever since then).
I have tried picking a different character on the loadout screen, concerned that maybe that was somehow part of the problem. Did not help.
No matter what I do, I can't join rooms via invite. Only through random matches. I am on wireless, but signal strength shows as 100% and UPnP says "available", NAT Type 2.
WTH am I doing wrong???
