Why skip the events?

I had a Valiant II, and got a Hurricane this time. I'm kinda glad -- one level doesn't make that much of a difference, so when it's between a single level or a new weapon, a newer weapon is a better deal (well, maybe except the Eagle). If I get to the point of having all of them, though, I'd much rather get more levels for my Valiant.

I think you forgot to divide by another 4.

There's 4 x N7 weapons (I don't think the Collector Rifle gets handed out in Commendation Packs).

That's a 0.25 chance each time.  The chance of getting a Valiant III, is 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25 = 0.015625, or around about a 1.5% chance.

There's a 0.39% chance that someone would get a different weapon from 4 Commendation Packs.

Like I said, I couldn't play the damned game all last night & all today.  If Bioware can fix the problems it's cool. But if it's going to be screwed up every time then it's better to skip them.  And if I'm going to get the Crusader every damned time then I'm just not interested. I got the Crusader 3 ****ing times already, enough is enough!  It's not funny anymore. The more I say I don't want shotguns the more I get shotguns.  

Also I have all the weapons except for 4. The 2 I want (Talon & Javelin) come in premium spectre packs.  So there's really no need to bother with the events.

Got a Valiant last time around. Got the crappy shotgun (Crusade?) this time though and the pistol (Eagle) the first time. The Valiant is the only useful one lol.

I haven't given the Eagle a try yet, but based on what I've seen here in the forum I don't expect it to be much better than the supremely underwhelming version I tried out in the SP.

So... You think the reason BW had problems with MP was because YOU played during the event? The problems would've happened whether you played or not. So you want to skip 3 or 4 days worth of playing that results in a FREE N7 weapon, just so you don't have 2 or 3 days of not being able to play?
If you're playing the game over the weekend that an event is on them you might as well try and do the objectives. They're not that hard, change things up a little and its FREE.
If we had to pay to enter these events and then we kept getting the guns we don't want, then I'd see your point.
Look I agree that BW needs to pull their fingers out and sort out this mess!!!

Anyway, Talon is not that great and the Black Widow is much better than the Javelin!!

First PS3 weekend. I got an Eagle. A pretty useless weapon for me.
Would trade my carnifex VI and eagle for a level IV valiant.

Got the Valiant I from the Commendation pack. Trying to decide whether I like the Valiant or the Saber more. They both seem to have the same damage, but that's just me guessing. My biggest factor when choosing is how fast I can take down bosses. I'm also looking to test out the Valiant on my Infiltrator. Any tips?

Spec ur infiltrator for dmg and blast away...

I have V3 and Saber 2, Saber takes MUCH longer to reload, does not have a scope and is not as steady!

With the Adrenaline Rush buffs from last week or whenever, Valiant I can drop non shielded targets with headshots. Spec grenades for shield damage, then chuck a grenade and line them up >
