Props to ya. I'm glad I have it in the SP and didn't have to shell out 275,000 for the BW. Though, I might still do that anyway, since I got the BW in mp up to a V and have a bias for it, like my tendency to choose Pepsi over Coke.

If you want my advice on SP, the Black Widow is a superior gun outside of insanity, because shield gating isn't an issue and you can just 1 shot everything with it, where valiant will take at least 2 shots to kill a shielded target.

On Insanity the Valiant is superior because of shield gating forcing you to two shot the shielded mooks, which the valiant can do better than the black widow.

Once you get to earth though the valiant stops one shotting even cannibals so it's time to switch back to black widow at that point.

With Concentration mod and the default time dilation, one of which you are forced to have, and the other you SHOULD have anyways, there is no reason not to always land headshots every time.

It isn't...

You have a 25% to get it once every 2-3 weeks, assuming you played the weekend commendation packs were offered.

Most people will have opened enough Spectre or PSPs by then to get the Black Widow.

You can't possibly be that daft.

You can buy the Black Widow.
You have to pray to get a Valiant.

Well, you have 1 in 4 chance of getting it for each Commendation Pack you opened.
If someone does not have plenty of time to play this game, I find the Valiant to be actually easier to obtain than the BW.

I still haven't had time to open my new commendation pack though. Not home atm, and the downtime kept me from opening it before.

There's nothing better at killing trash mobs than the Valiant

I guess that makes sense once I look at the stats. The recoil is much lower and the rate of fire is higher. I'm guessing it's good for taking out shield then health quickly?

Yes, very good.

It holds it's own on bosses too, competitive with BW on them/

it can take down large targets as well, i like it becuase it is FAST and it fits my playstyle atm my geth inifltrator is specced for +20 Movement speed and comebine it with a fast shooting SR, im in heavan....i like the gun becuase it fits my play style...

The Valiant is a run and gun version of the black widow, great for active infiltrators (See stationary BW users.) the fast reload and zero recoil make up for the lack of power.
