I have never managed to get a BW and only have a Widow I. I have to say the Valiant is spectacular in my book. I mow through trash on Silver and can usually bring down a Brute in 2 cloak cycles. Banshees are still a b****, but every other heavy is soloable if I'm careful.

Now that I have it at level III I might have to ditch the Saber I on my Justicar. I think the Saber hits harder, but I have to use scope and stability to cut the rise. With the Valiant III I can go piercing+barrel.

Thing I love it most for though is pyros and engineers. First two shots break their shields, third shot center mass, the pass-through ignites the tank/backpack.  I don't even have to waste another shot.  I litterally will set up groups for tank detonations and watch the meyham as 2 or 3 explode in the period of 5 seconds and take out all their friends.

That gun isn't even good at that.

Now if it fired like the Phalanx(fave sidearm), then I'd use it. but since its basically a SMG pistol, I'd rather use the Phalanx or the Carnifex for pistols and the Kassa Locust or the Geth Plasma SMG for SMGs.

I got the Valient in my first two packs and I love it. I'll take it over my BW any day. Eagle in this new one. It... wasn't as bad as when I tried it SP, but thats probably due more to the fact that I was using the turian soldier on my solo Bronze test run (what I normally do for trying out new wepons).

Its one in four chance of pulling a X N7 from a single commendation pack...

Valiant 3 is awesome but I always wonder what the other weapons would be like in MP. I got Valiant 2 and the Eagle but I wanted to try the hurricane just to see if its really as bad as everyone says

Valiants reload makes it far more effective then the BW could ever hope to be in my book, since I can shoot 6 times with the valiant while the BW shoots 3 per cloak cycle.

If you think the valiant is good, try the Geth Plasma Shotgun. You'll quickly realise that it's twice as good as the valiant and much easier to get.

It sucks. I cried when I got my Crusader II. Oh for a Valiant or a Hurricane.
Its basically a slower version of the mattock, with more dmg and lower mag size. just use a saber instead.
a shotgun that doesnt have spread. wtf?
