Terribad. ^.^

I don't have balls to play D3 on release day.

I wait three more days and have BULLET TIME.

Sad that the MP is going down, I really enjoyed it. :(

And it gets even better...

I tried going to EA's help page. Clicked on "contact us".

Call Me: greyed out, no advisors available at this time
Live Chat: greyed out, no advisors available at this time
Email Me: greyed out!! REALLY, your email doesn't even work now!!

Best part is I can't even pass the time playing single player because I got the Collector's Edition that included From Ashes. It won't let me load up my SP campaign because my DLC can't be verified.

I guess I'll stop wondering if I should buy Kingdoms of Amalur when school gets out. Time to just write off anything that involves EA/Origin.

get it on steam instead, works fine.

you 100% sure it doesnt use Origin/Bioware system too?

also, after all this.. hmm.. Makes me wonder.. what if Anonymous or other group hacked EA as revengue for the whole Rock Band thing Fiasco on itunes..

I mean, they hacked Sony and many other big companies...

I think Anonymous knows better than to cause a mess for those people they are trying to represent.

Same problem here. And a few friends as well. (In case it's not clear by this point that this is apparently system wide).

Have it on my screen as well.

When this kinda thing goes wrong on an MMORPG they give you compensation like extra time on a subscription.

Doubt we'll get anything but an Eagle.

Question for those with From Ashes: does the game still work in offline mode? Try unplugging your ethernet cable before launching, and see if that does anything.

I wonder how long they will take to fix the issue.

considering there are so many bugs that never got fixed in older games.. makes me wonder of the reliability of bioware since EA bought them..

EA buys the company gives them budget and guidelines to work within and a deadline to meet,. things go from good to bad, this is the track record of EA.

They are always looking for other companies to buy as well, and no one knows till the deal is done.

Steam is the same frakin problem. If Steam ever go down or go FUBAR for a few days, it becomes all the same. You wont be able to access your frakin games that you paid for.

Like the guy said ahead, i cannot even play my SINGLE player campaign because my Collector edition wont recognize my DLC!!!

I HATE that single player games now requires Internet connection and authentification and codes and what not.... This has gone crazy.

Remember the good old days when you only had to type the code that was in the instruction manual and you were good to go?

Vid games are way too reliant upon internet and servers and stuff nowadays. The Multiplay shoudl never have been mixed with SP. And DLC shoudl have been authenticated only ONCE!

Now there's an interesting thought... but usually it is a smaller branch that does something like that, and usually doesn't share the same views as the majority.

Sony is an example of this. Small branch acted out, not reflective of the mass.

Or at least that was my understanding of the chaos.

considering these guys are just paperpushers and not real IT techs...
they always scalate the issues to higher levels.. so its clear they have a real problem to start freezing all the scalations.

Like that time when they locked all the people out of their PS3s?  That went over great with the internet.

How about games like Star Control and Master of Orion that required you to own the manual, copy protection was something like matching a ship name to a ship class by searching through the manual for pictures.  I think I remember Star Control having a multi-layered decoder wheel that required you to match up a bunch of pass phrases and then put in the final word.

Ahh Good Times.

I finally got my commendation pack - got an N7 Valiant! The game crashes ONE round later and now I'm stuck in this online pass loop. EA - get your crap together and dish out additional free packs for everyone for this horrendous oversight. This code should not even exist in our game.

Yeah! there was wheel like that to play Pool Of Radiance on PC! You matched the wheel layers and got the password to type.

You are aware of course that as soon as the game gets back up, every packs given will have been canceled and in the new pack youll get it will be a nice Eagle pistol.

I don't get it, how did the game become so utterly and completely broken. This is beyond shocking.

There was a time when, once I have purchased a game, I could play it whenever and however I want. Now, games need to be hooked up to some digital IV drip before we even hit the menu. When developers and publishers force us to rely on their servers to authenticate the game before it could even be played, then by God, I don't care how it's done, but you better make sure that we can goddamn rely on you lads.

For similar reasons, I completely reject the idea of cloud storage and cloud computing. If we're going to be asked to rely on your servers, your computers, and your authentication procedures to do even the most basic functions of computer programs (like starting) then blimin' make sure we can rely on them in the first place.
