yeah...i dont see how long will Origin last but im sure its a matter of time until they either fix it or trash it, Steam provides a 1000 times better service....and Steam sometimes sucks a lot...so yeah it just shows how bad Origin is...

Yep, just decided to log in again an check this out. While there is a manual update you have to apply, this does not actually properly fix the problem.

If you're already playing the game, you won't have the problem; but as soon as you exit out of the game, and try to re-load it, you will get the error that you can't authorize the DLC/log into the multiplayer content because your account isn't properly authorized.

Not joking - had to check my account (as this has happened to me before) and it's happened to me again as well. I'm locked out of my account. AGAIN. This took 8 days to fix though EA support the last time it happened to me.

WHY, BIOWARE?! SERIOUSLY. NOT FUNNY. I WANT AN ANSWER THIS TIME.

If you'd bothered to check the PC technical support page, this problem affects legitimate purchases of Mass Effect 3 by desynching their account details on the EA Servers' side. It ****s over actual customers.

I don't know what's wrong with the PCs and Xboxes of all you other people, but my PC breaks down less often than my Xbox, and my Xbox only broke down once on a first gen after playing the heck out of a single game for a week during a break; burned out the GPU, as was common back in the day.

It's amusing how a bunch of people have an issue, and then idiots come out of the woodwork to say "Well it's your fault for not being on XBox" or "It's your fault for doing FBWGG" or "It's your fault for playing Vanguard".

Do people who don't have issues just think EA ****s rainbows 24/7 and will never screw them over or something?

For all the other people with this problem, this is how you fix this issue. It happened to me last patch.

You need to:
  • Open a Chat with EA customer support/EAHelp.
  • Explain to them in childs English what the issue is.
  • State that they need to "reset your account" then;
  • "Reactivate your account" and;
  • "Reregister your Mass Effect 3 game" AND;
  • your "From Ashes" DLC AND;
  • the Resurgence DLC.
This -should- resolve the issue. The EA Customer Support person should remotely log in to your account to do this. When you go to log in, Origin will prompt you stating that 'someone' is using your account. That's just the EA rep fixing the issue on their end.

AGAIN - this is not your problem. This is something to do with the EA Server no longer recognising your account details. THIS IS THEIR PROBLEM. Many legitimate users have had their accounts locked for weeks (me included) before this issue was resolved.

This is NOT OK.

Nope, I just enjoy frustrating people who just a an hour ago were claiming elitism, and I'm still playing and they arent XD

The funny thing is, the online pass system is entirely redundant on the PC anyway. You need Origin to play the game (legit) and you can only register the game once. There is no possible way to play with a used copy on Origin.

It is astounding how badly this game has been mauled by blatant plain old fashioned incompetence.

One of the most anticipated games in modern times and nothing but wave after wave of incompetence.

Small wonder EA stocks are in the tank.
