Well good for you, i dont have luxury simply because i need the internet for my work. and if i force the game to offline mode, it does not count the N7 special ops asset i would really much like for the earth mission i was about to do -.-
so no, offline isnt an option till BW/EA removes the bonds between MP and SP

oh and for the record. I have once tried the offline BS. Indra suddenly becomes unavailable for me, and so did the prothean. So if i play without being online, i will end up with a broken(gimped) save game. no thank you.

yes thats another issue even if you can play on offline mode you lose all those assets:whistle:

I can really play and I have the DLC+Indra. The only thing I changed was turning off the gameplay feedback, maybe that helps?

Gues what, i tried that about a week ago when no internet connection was available, and i didnt have my indra and prothean dlc there, so yeah. No thanks.

Edit: i have had occasions when i got these in offline mode, but more than once, it has lead to complications, once i lost levels on javik, yeah thats right. javik was lv1, while the rest of my squadmates were at 44 -.-

When only legitimate users ever encounter the DRM while pirates never even hear of the problems associated with it, you know you failed.

That worked last time we've had this problem 2 weeks ago, for some stupid reason that's not the case now. Not to mention how retarded it was in the first place to completely kill my connection for the sake of a stupid company.

Also experiencing this problem. I didn't get a chance to play MP for the short time that the server issue was "resolved", and now when I start the game I get this online pass BS.
It's ridiculous that I should have to disable my internet just to be able to play single player as well. Bioware, haven't you noticed that this sort of always online DRM is completely pointless? It didn't stop people from cracking the game and pirating it! It NEVER does!
I understand having authentication on multiplayer (even though it could be argued that even the pirates might be tempted to make a few microtransactions), but single player? The only people you're hurting are the paying customers...pirates are not affected by server issues causing their game to become unplayable.

It's associated with having the From Ashes DLC or certain unlocked content (not all, the Indra is one of them apparently). If you have a save game where you've had these items and the authentication fails to unlock them, you can't load the save.

Ignoring the insults flying from both sides of the fence here, I can attest that Sgt. Bilko's workaround DOES work, at least for me. If you've been affected by this bug, try clicking on the "Gear" button in Origin, selecting the "Go Offline" option, then run ME3 and try and load up your saves.

UPDATE: The Indra and Javik are both present and appear to be working normally, but I must also admit that I don't know whether playing offline will cause any long-term problems with my save game. Consider using this workaround at your own risk, and make sure to keep a backup save game from your original spot!

ok i went into the war room, accessed the war data thingy and clicked war map, then back to war assets and my N7 Spec ops team was found!! an extra 2100 for me thank you

EDIT:@Zaxares, not my idea just used it and it worked.

Just got same issue. i input once my code, it didn t work.. I don t wanna screw my account attempting weird stuff.

Although I can be frustrated, is obviously a major issue and **** like this may happen. The bright side is this will be of course fixed, so is just a matter to be a bit patient.

Ridiculous. I was about to finish of Kai Leng and start the final mission but I guess I will play some other game instead. Complete chaos abounds in regards to this issue because ultimately we all know crap happens but the lack of general response or a system wide notification definitely fall under:

Most of the time it does not work, and didnt work this time either, not to mention i am in the end of the game and last time i had to play offline, risking a broken save game, i had no n7 spec ops asset. not having that can have an impact in the end game.

I got this problem too. In addition to that, my 360 copy says "can't connect to EA servers" when starting the game.
