Got the same issue, plowing through the update at a whooping 9.0k/sec and dropping. Should be done by the time morning rolls around.

Here's hoping the update fixes the issue.

I have the same issue, PC Collector's Edition. I tried contacting support about it, but they said their "tool" is not functioning and is being fixed....

I seriously don't understand the point of an online pass, at least on PC. Its tied to the origin account, so what is the purpose? Its not like you can sell the game to someone else (without selling the account, which has the online pass already)...

all i did is turn origin to offline mode then launch the game.

Ignoring the insults flying from both sides of the fence here, I can attest that Sgt. Bilko's workaround DOES work, at least for me. If you've been affected by this bug, try clicking on the "Gear" button in Origin, selecting the "Go Offline" option, then run ME3 and try and load up your saves.

UPDATE: The Indra and Javik are both present and appear to be working normally, but I must also admit that I don't know whether playing offline will cause any long-term problems with my save game. Consider using this workaround at your own risk, and make sure to keep a backup save game from your original spot!

Most of the time it does not work, and didnt work this time either, not to mention i am in the end of the game and last time i had to play offline, risking a broken save game, i had no n7 spec ops asset. not having that can have an impact in the end game.

ok i'll be serious now, i went into the war room, accessed the war data thingy and clicked
war map, then back to war assets and my N7 Spec ops team was found!! an
extra 2100 for me thank you
also, i have done this before due to connections issues of my own, all it does afterwards is ask you if you want to load the local game or the one from cloud, pick the game that has the lastest timestamp and continue on.
@wafflecrab, did you disable the upload gameplay feedback option in the menu? It might help, i can report that everything is as it should be in my SP readiness at 100% all DLC and N7spec ops team in my war assets

This has to be an EA thing in general, unstable shoddy servers that go down more often then anything else. Not that steam is the pinnacle of how it's done but their game servers are generally never offline.

I do miss myself some All Seeing Eye and general dedicated servers...

So here's an idea. We can all agree that ea provides awful awful service and Origin SUCKS. EA is a publicly traded company. Instead of boycotting EA and refusing to buy their next game, we pool a little of our money together (like $50 per person) and obtain a controlling share of the company and use that good old thorn in the side called "shareholder activism" to represent customer interests and turn off Origin and shift online service over to steam.

Just an idea, it won't help with the current situation but I'm sure it'll make us feel a lot better!

FYI , EA traded at $15.87 per share at the previous close so based on this price,$50 can buy 3 shares of EA.

Disclosure: I have not owned EA stock or any other security in the past 3 months.

If that was planned as maintenace would be nice to inform Us..
