congratulations for the MP team for developing a module that makes the game unplayable everytime there's an update.

Now the people who claimed that MP are wasted resources which should have been spent on more SP polishing have their point.

Until EA employees get to work on the west coast, there's no one to reboot the SQL server.  Maybe they need to put someone on a pager for afterhours support.  Just my wild speculation, of course. :innocent:

I'm starting to feel like they have found another way to make money other than video games, but they are still using their name to sell games before everyone boycut them.

Displeasing customer service like this is not going to improve their financial situation.

I've been having the same problem. As per the advice of a customer service rep (since that always ends well) I started a reinstall last night before learning that uninstall/reinstalling does nothing to help the issue.

And now I get to redownload the entire bloody game for nothing... I'm getting pretty damn sick of dealing with the clowns who work for EA.

Ask the community first, they know more then the Support and find solution for a lot of problems faster then anyone else :D

Apparently it's about us not being able to use the licence we paid for.

Anyways - a quick theory testing - how many of You locked out have Steam installed? Is there anyone locked out who doesn't have it/never had it?

Yeah, like it was going to fix the online pass problem, sure. No, it doesn't. The purchase/redeem issue persists. But apparently there was a miniscule patch to download.

So they are in a sitiuation like when I play Sim City and the profit is always red no matter what I do... I remember they only way out is to reduce citezen by doing some choas then the profit gets back to green, so they will cut their customers down to increase the profit! :crying:

They probably have a database back-up tape somewhere so the worst thing that could happen is that they roll us back to Sunday or something.

Or one would like to hope.
