So this problem started over 11 hours ago and they still have not responded or acknowledged that there is an issue? lmao

We're looking into the EA server
connectivity / erroneous online pass message as we speak, I've no ETA
right now but this is being worked on as a priority by the engineering
team.

Yeah, it's not packs - I hadn't loaded up the game in days (haven't checked Victory or Commendation packs - did they ever get handed out?). Went straight from the 26MB patch update, to launching the game, to being given the Online Pass + DLC errors.
I *do* wonder if it's something fat-fingered on the DB or in client code. As a developer myself, I'm (more than) a little surprised by how little basic testing/QA/competence there seems to be, not to mention the complete lack of communication. Who are these people and why are they so bad at what they do? How do they still have jobs?
lordshenlong: thx for the pointers to the tech support forums.
you're welcome.
It's because all the talented people are working for Valve and helping to support Steam.
I'm starting to feel like they have found another way to make money other than video games, but they are still using their name to sell games before everyone boycut them.

I've been having the same problem. As per the advice of a customer service rep (since that always ends well) I started a reinstall last night before learning that uninstall/reinstalling does nothing to help the issue.
And now I get to redownload the entire bloody game for nothing... I'm getting pretty damn sick of dealing with the clowns who work for EA.

ok guys, force an update on ME3 on your PC
it seems you have to download a patch.
to clarify, in your origin, right click on your ME3 icon.. then select UPDATE GAME or something like that.

btw anyone knows whats the new update is about ? is it for single player changes or multiplayer?
Yeah, like it was going to fix the online pass problem, sure. No, it doesn't. The purchase/redeem issue persists. But apparently there was a miniscule patch to download.Dany164 wrote...

So they are in a sitiuation like when I play Sim City and the profit is always red no matter what I do... I remember they only way out is to reduce citezen by doing some choas then the profit gets back to green, so they will cut their customers down to increase the profit!phoneixxineohp wrote...

EA? No, they're not.
Profit and Loss Statment says they incurring losses as of 12/31/2011

Cash Flow Statement says that they've spent more money than they brought in as of 12/31/2011

Displeasing customer service like this is not going to improve their financial situation.

Apparently it's about us not being able to use the licence we paid for.
Anyways - a quick theory testing - how many of You locked out have Steam installed? Is there anyone locked out who doesn't have it/never had it?
