This -is- due to the recent patch. This is the exact same error I had when Bioware launched patch 1.02, and it took EAHelp 8 days to fix my issue. The only reason I eventually resolved my issue was because, every day for eight days, I hounded some poor EAHelp staff person until I got one who knew what he/she was doing.
I do not believe 'waiting' will fix this issue.

ah.. she wasn't very specific which problem had been resolved, except the mention of packs at the end which could have been "the' or just one of the issues . At least that's the way i read it.

I doubt it, but this is a workaround. Doesn't fix the issue but it helps.

With my luck they prob refund me in the form of bioware points <_<
