Not related to country / edition.
I have CE live in Europe i can't log, friends from all over the world (Russia, NA, SA, etc) with either CE or regular edition can't log either while some from the same places with same different boxes can log.

The only point we might have in common for those unable to play is that we bought several (read 5+) Premium Specter Packs.

USA here, though strangely, one of my US friends has no issues. And while one of my Aussie friends has issues, another can access it fine. It's like they randomly decided on a ton of random keys that they should just stop working.

Edit: checked for updates, restarted computer, tried to redeem my own code again, repaired the install. Did everything short from reinstalling which will not work so forgive me for not wasting 4 hours. 
I observed something though. My origin recognizes my code. Problem ensues when ME3 actually connects do EA servers, tries to authorise the code and fail (there is visible pause before ME3 changes status from "connecting to EA servers" to "redeem online pass"). Looks like the servers are missing crapload of codes. Either BW/EA corrupted the database or someone hacked it and/or tried to massively reuse the codes.

which makes me think one of their servers went kaboom.. they pretty much have a cluster-type multi server system..
so one server crashes.. the rest are up.. so not everyone is affected by the crashes.
