Question: I left my copy of ME3 running overnight and can still access multiplayer as well as the rest of the game's functions. Are the other folks on this thread who can still access the game in my position? Has anyone quit out of the game and relaunched it only to run into this error? Or have people successfully launched the game after quitting it in the last twelve hours?

Yeah, singleplayer hasn't been affected by the bug(as far as I can tell), including DLC. It's just the Multiplayer section.

So I get home from work at 2:30am last night and I decide to check if my commendation pack has arrived yet. I find out it wants me to purchase and or redeem an online pass. First this I did was come here. Next I updated my ME3 game on origin and tried again and by this point it was getting closer to 3am. I then decided to go to the Origin live chat to speak with someone directly. I explained what was going on and they asked me to please be patient. I stressed several times just to take there time I just want to be able to play the game I purchased. For the next hour I continually received messages to be patient and asking if it was okay for him to log into my account and suspend our conversation briefly to sort out the issue. The comments are becoming more and more insulting towards me as they have little to nothing to do with what I am actually asking. It hits 4:30 in the morning and the live chat rep decides to tell me "this is a non issue, is there anything else I can help you with" I was just about to lose it at this point when I asked "I am sorry? How exactly is this a non issue? I purchases this game directly from Origin for $90 and I am unable to play it and this is a non issue?" the response was just another preloaded comment that they would try again. I was then asked for my order number (found on the email receipt) which I gave them. over the next 20 minutes I waited until he gave me a new key. Tried it and nothing.I entered the key and clicked "continue" and it just takes you back to the "redeem online pass/purchase online pass" window and nothing happens. I try to explain this and he clearly does not understand so he asks me if he can view my desktop. Gives me a link to allow desktop sharing which I clicked and I was promptly told that "client needs java" and that it wouldn't work. I would like to point out I have the most updated Java on my computer at the moment. He insists that I need to install Java which I can't exactly do because I already have it and I just gave up. It was now 5:30am and I was tired of being insulted by this guy. I am now looking forward to sending a scathing email about the customer service I received. So if any of you get "Aashish" as your live chat help I highly recommend you close your window and try again later when he is not working.
